Project Name- Students’ Marks analysing system

Project Goals-
Student Result Analysis System is software which is helpful for students as
well as the college authorities. In the current system all the activities are
done manually. It is very time consuming and costly. Our Student Result
Analysis System deals with the various activities related to the students.
In the Software we can register as a user and user has of three types,
student, admin and manager. Admin has the power to add new user and can
edit and delete a user. A student can register as user and can use visible for
mark list and attendance his profile. The admin can add edit and delete
marks for the student. All the users can see the marks. The manager can add
and delete new student and staff performance.

Project Deliverable-
The deliverable system will:
o Enable administration register, delete and find student records.
o store details about the students actually studying in the institute,
including their personal details, a progress sheet where information about
their exams marks will be will be recorded and
o include all essential data on the courses offered; the modules and the
respective lecturers, the different batches of the courses will also be
available,
o Enable the lecturers to insert progress of students as their assignments
marks.
o allow placement officers to validate students’ results.
o Produce reports as:
. List of student progress
. List of exam results
. List of results statistics
. List of modules to be accessed by both the administration and the
program coordinator
o gives access rights to the different actors.

Communication Plan-
The project “STUDENTS’ MARKS ANALYSING SYSTEM” is all concerned
about the
the marks and result analysis of a particular student in an institution. So a
proper communication must be set up between the producers and the
institution. Producer need a proper analysis of how to reduce the manual
effort of calculating the marks of a student and how to display the result
statistics of the students present in an institution. This communication
must be established between each and every component of the
institution.

Risk management-
Every project has uncertainties and they may not act the project success.
These uncertainties are known as risk. There is a need to determine the
risks involved in the project to reduce the chance of its occurrence as well
as develop a plan to either mitigate or avoid the risks that have been
identified.
After identifying and determining the risks, they are recorded in a table
called the risk
assessment matrix. This matrix lists the severity which is also known as
the impact level in
terms of High, Medium and Low. In addition to those details, the action
plan that can be
taken for each of the risks is clearly stated too.
The risk in this project are the authentication of each and every actor of
this project and to provide a better security to them for the successful run
of this software.
