flew successfully an RCM jamming
and we!lther for ecast mission separ-
ate from the main force.
Fi ve enemy aircraft were sighted,
but none a ttacked. Heavy and med-
ium flak at the tar.a:et was meager
and inaccurate . Three searchlights
were 'l nable to penetrate the over-
cast. There were no casualties,
losses or damage due to enemy act-
ion. One B_29 ditched, killing one
crew member. Nine of the crew were
rescued and one i 5 missing. No post
strike reconnaissance has been ob-
tained.
