Visco-elastic mounts or isolators are useful to reduce the transmission of vibration from machinery to base
structure or vice-versa where control of transmission of vibration is required. There are different types of
mounts available, however, the Visco-elastic mounts have been used frequently as it has more advantages
compared to other mounts in respect of size available for required stiffness and high damping coefficient.

Worked as a student intern on developing content for road safety and the pre-planned measures to be taken
while driving on the roads so as to minimize the number of road accidents by creating an impact in the society.

“Performance, Emission and Combustion Characteristics Of CI Engine Fuelled With
Nano Fuels”
Abstract: The Main theme is to draw out the results for the effect of nano additives on the performance,
emission and combustion characteristics of the I.C engine. Various nano additives like organic, metal based,
fuel additives and inorganic additives have been discussed for the characteristics like Brake power, Heat
release rate, Brake specific fuel consumption, Brake thermal efficiency and the observations have been
recorded.
PROJECTS:
“Density Based Air Flow Controller By Using Sensors”
Abstract: Using the detective sensors air flow of the conditioned air can be controlled by using the density
based air flow controller so as to optimize the power consumption of a company or a shopping mall. The
sensors have been programmed in such a way that only required amount of air is circulated in a given space.
“Analysis of fuel properties of Nano added biodiesel blends”
Abstract: An experimental investigation is conducted to evaluate the effects of Nano additives and surfactant
on the properties and combustion characteristics of a direct injection diesel engine. The test fuels are denoted
as B20 (20% biodiesel and 80% diesel in vol.), B50 (50% biodiesel, 50% diesel and in vol.), B70 (70%
biodiesel and 30% diesel in vol.) and 100% diesel respectively.
