Introduction:

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) granted a project of Listing of Farm

Households 2017 (2017 LFH). The objective of the project is to update the list of the
households that operate agricultural activities such as livestock, poultry and planting of
crops. The reference period of the project is from September 2016 up to July 2017.

Issues During Enumeration Action Taken

Overlapped on EA 35002 by 39002 Transferred the Households overlapped by

Critical Area especially in Sitio Tanglaw
reported as a mini “Tondo”.
Overlapped by EA 006000 to EA 026006.
EN 21 to EN 25. Re encode the households
to the proper EA.
Asked assistance to the Brgy. Administrator
and assistance to the Team Supervisor
during enumeration to the said area.
Transferred the Households overlapped by
EN 23 to EN 24. Re encode the households
to the proper EA.

Recommendation:

Transition from printed questionnaire into computerized questionnaire can make the
job at ease, however during the enumeration the enumerator had a hard time using the
CAPI because of the system breakdown. I recommend that next time they use a servers
that capable of processing and saving a larger volume of data to avoid delay of the
project.
