I believe that a teacher’s primary role in the classroom is to not only be a
facilitator of knowledge, but to be a nurturing individual who develops strong
relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A strong teacher is one who is able
to manage a classroom efficiently and effectively, cares for the students’ best interests
and acts as a role model for students and staff. The main purpose of education is to
create a safe and nurturing learning environment to facilitate all different learning
I trust that not every student is the same and that it is my responsibility to find and
provide the right strategies and resources to aid in a students’ learning. In the classroom

Bullying won’t be tolerated in my classroom. I will make sure to put forward very
clear class rules at the beginning of the school year to ensure students understand what
