Condition Assessment of Concrete in the RC Structural Elements of the Dibang & Lohit
River Bridge Projects at Arunachala Pradesh for M/s Navayuga Engineering Corporation
Limited, Arunachala Pradesh

SCOPE OF WORK

Condition Assessment of Concrete in the RC Structural Elements of the Dibang & Lohit River
Bridge Projects will be carried out using Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) Test and Rebound
Hammer Test.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Condition assessment of concrete in the RC Elements would be carried by taking typical

measurements/ readings as per the methodology submitted.

2. Processing the NDT measured data, preparation and submission of detailed report on NDT
including condition assessment

3. An officer/Engineer of the M/s Navayuga Engineering Corporation Limited would have to

be identified and he shall be present at the site whenever M/s Concrete Quality Concepts
Pvt Ltd project team carries out site investigation.

4. M/s Navayuga Engineering Corporation Limited must provide the following during the site
investigation:

a. To carry out the above mentioned experimental investigations at the site, the
Personnel of M/s Concrete Quality Concepts Pvt Ltd should be provided with a
safe and sturdy platform to access the Piers.
 b. Two semi-skilled / unskilled laborers shall be made available, free of cost, to
assist M/s Concrete Quality Concepts Pvt Ltd team in the investigation.

c. 5 kg of multi-purpose grease shall be made available by M/s Navayuga

Engineering Corporation Limited free of cost to the investigating team during
the site investigation.

5. The travel of the project team from Chennai to Dibrugarh by air during the onward and
return journeys shall be provided by M/s Navayuga Engineering Corporation Limited (air
tickets shall be provided by M/s Navayuga Engineering Corporation Limited). The travel of
the project team from Dibrugarh to Arunachala Pradesh site by car shall be arranged by
M/s Navayuga Engineering Corporation Limited in the onward and return journeys.

6. The necessary arrangements towards hospitality of the project team (lodging, food and
local transport) during the period of the site investigation will have to be borne by
M/s Navayuga Engineering Corporation Limited. One room may be arranged for the stay of
the 2 personnel for the period of investigation.

7. The consultancy charges work out as per below table. The charges have to be paid in
the form of crossed demand draft/RTGS/Cheque drawn in favour of “M/s Concrete Quality
Concepts Pvt Ltd” payable at Chennai.

Payment Terms:

1. 25% of the Consultancy charges applicable for this project must be paid in advance
before commencement of work along with work order.

2. 50% of the Consultancy charges of this project should be paid after completion of site
investigation.

3. The remaining 25% can be paid after the submission of report.
