The Thermo Scientific TN 3000 Total Nitrogen Analyzer is trusted to deliver accurate results year

The Thermo Scientific TN 3000 Total Nitrogen Analyzer is

designed to measure nitrogen levels over a wide range of

The TN 3000 is matrix independent and complies fully with DIN,
ASTM, IP and CEN standards.

Total Sulfur analysis is making the future a clean place. As
the full environmental impact of greenhouse gas emissions
becomes apparent, regulatory agencies such as the U.S. EPA are
spearheading dramatic sulfur level restrictions in motor fuels.
Since 2006, the allowed sulfur content of diesel fuel has been
reduced from 500 ppm to 15 ppm within the United States.
These initiatives are also being implemented by other industrialized
nations, particularly within the European Union and Asia Pacific
region. There is now a clear trend towards more stringent limits
on the sulfur content of motor fuels.

The Thermo Scientific ECS 3000 Total Chlorine Analyzer and the Thermo Scientific ECS Total
Chroline Module offer reliable and repeatable results at ultra-low chlorine levels in solid, liquid,
LPG and gas samples.

Thermo Scientific ECS 3000 Analyzer

This Total Chlorine Analyzer incorporates a dedicated halogen
titration cell which is ideally suited for microcoulometric
detection of total chlorine. The titration method enables
calibration free measurement and detection to maximize
productivity.

Thermo Scientific ECS Chlorine Module

This ECS Chlorine module can be added to a Thermo Scientific
TN/TS 3000 Series instrument to achieve multi-element

Total chlorine analysis is essential for minimizing industrial
running costs. Organic chlorides are introduced into crude oils to
enhance the oil recovery process and arise from chlorinated
solvents and additives used in crude oil production, transportation
and storage. It is essential in the refining process to remove this
chlorine as it acts as a poison to catalysts used in further
processing and also corrodes pipelines, valves and condensers.

The Thermo Scientific TS 4000 True Total Sulfur Analyzer is the ideal analytical solution
for determining true total sulfur levels in samples containing high levels of nitrogen.

The Thermo Scientific TS 4000 incorporates NOx and O3

generators to completely remove any interference of cetane
improver concentration on the level of sulfur reported during the
analysis of fuels.

The TS 4000 is fully compliant with the following

regulatory methods:
ASTM D5453, D6667, D7183.

True Total Sulfur Analysis (TTS) is essential when cetane
improvers are added to automotive fuels to improve the fuel
efficiency and the sulfur content of the fuel needs to be
measured. Nitrogen in the cetane improver, when combusted,
produces NO which creates an interference on the measured
sulfur level. The effect is that without True Total Sulfur (TTS)
technology, the incorrect sulfur level is reported and the analysis
is inaccurate.

The ThEuS Intelligent Analytical Software suite provides a
single user interface for our entire range of advanced analyzers.
The comprehensive, intuitive and easy to use Microsoft
Windows based software suite provides full control of every

aspect of the analysis workflow – from system control and
sample analysis to data interpretation and reporting. The fully
integrated software provides dedicated control of the entire
suite of analyzer accessories. Fully automated switching
between analysis modes ensures reduced cost of ownership and
improved productivity.
Gas & LPG module
The Thermo Scientific EGM II gas and LPG sample introduction
modules enable the safe and reproducible introduction of gas
and LPG samples into the 3000 series analyzers.
Combining two sample loops into one module, the EGM II is
the best multi-element solution for gas or liquefied gas analysis
of nitrogen, sulfur and chlorine. The EGM II is fully integrated
and compatible with a wide range of gas handling vessels and
apparatus. This accessory was designed to make your analysis
easy and safe and is one of our best sellers.
Solids module
The Thermo Scientific boat introduction module is essential for
the analysis of heavy hydrocarbons and solid samples. The
automatic boat driven concept, controlled by ThEuS software,
provides the optimum solution for many applications. The high
sample load capacity and integrated septum stopper minimizes
weighing errors and eliminates problems caused by
inhomogeneous samples. The module is also provided with fast
gas connectors for both carrier gas and oxygen.
Liquids module
The Thermo Scientific universal liquids module is suitable for
fast injection of a wide range of light hydrocarbons. The unique
design of the catalyst-free syringe introduction module can be
used up to an operating temperature of 450 °C. This module is
provided with fast gas connectors and can handle large sample
volumes (max. 250 µl). The injection rate, sample volume and
temperatures are user programmable with the ThEuS intelligent
software which ensures a completely controlled and repeatable
analysis every time.
Cooling Option for Boat Introduction
The Thermo Scientific cooling option for boat introduction is
designed for the analysis of liquid based samples with high
boiling points. The cooling of the boat reduces sample analysis
time, which results in increased productivity. In addition, it also
controls the sample evaporation process thus adding stability
to the measurement, which is reflected in the accuracy of
the result.
The Thermo Scientific NeXYZ Autosampler
The NeXYZ is designed specifically for the introduction of 2 ml
and 10 ml vials and up to 108 samples. The autosampler is
designed to accurately control the injection speed and volume to
provide maximum reproducibility and minimum RSDs. The
unique design of the NeXYZ autosampler allows installation
next to or directly on the analyzer to minimize footprint.
