We have a spiritual needs

GOD IS LOVE
1 John 4:7-8

Love is ddeeper/more than a feelings.It is a choice, a commitment

You love, then you belong to Jesus
Failure to love God and love one another is the root of sin
"You cannot learn to love God, until you understand His LOVE"

We have religion, but no relationship

The very nature of God is love

Three nature of God:

God is Spirit, not a
God is light
God is love
When you focus on "God is love", you must not neglect
the other attributes of God;
God is Holy,; His love is Holy
God is faithful; His love is faithful
God is righteous, God is just

You will not love, until you first experience His love.

GOD'S UNCHANGING LOVE: RECEIVE IT, GIVE IT!

John 13:34 to 35
True love is...
1.An unconditional commitment
Love is never dependent to feelings, but a choice!

2.Towards imperfect people

"It is easy to love strangers. The hardest people to love are those staying wwith
you in the house."
v.34; a new commandment I givee to you that you love ONE ANOTHER... you also love
one another
v.35; ...love for one another.
Who is this one another?
The context of the story:Jesus knew Judas will betray Him, Yet He love Judas. Did
Jesus know that Peter will deny Him? He loved Peter.
God's love and your love is different.

Hosea 1:2
Not because we deserve it, not because we earn it

You are not only not perfect, you are imperfect

You are not only imperfect, you are undeserving

The love of this world is based on performance;you do good/nice, then I will love
you. You love me, then I will love you.
But Jesus love is; You don't deserve it, I love you! You don't love me, I love you.
Such is the love of God.

It is a problem if you have not understood nor experienced loveof God.

"You will not know and understand the love of God until you realized He loves you
unconditionally. He is committed to you.Not because you deserve it, but simply
because love is a choice.
God does not need you, yet He loves you!"

Anything that you take no.1 in your life, thatis your God.

Hosea 14:1 to 2
The heart of God is, "return,come back to me!"

3. To seek their highest good

Hebrews 12:6
God wants your highest good.
To love efecttively is to look how God showed His love for us

4.Which may requires sacrifice

Romans 5:8
v.08; "demonstrate" action, love requires action
"Undeserving people"

God gave us a family so that we can always understand His love for us.
God gave us families to show us, how much He loves us.

God tells us what is true love; John 13:34-35

v.34; "... that you love one another..." towards imperfect people
v.34; "... as I have loved you..." to seek their highest good
v.34; "... love one another..." we are to love one another, HOW? As He love us

v.35; "... love for one another..." the greatest testimony you can give to honor
God is to love each other.

5. Resulting in God's glory

How do you love people? Start with your family

The world is looking for love, but not the love of the world.
The love of the world is self-centered.
God's love is giving, to seek your highest good.
