    Normal Anatomy

    - Standard views down in AP or PA proection in internal and external rotation


    o Internal rotation:humeral head is smooth and spherical
    o External rotation: concavity of bcipital groove in lateral aapsect of humeral head
     In children: promixal humeral ephiphysis and pehysieal plate – not a
    fracture! If ephipyseal plate not // to x-ray severa lucent lines can be
    seen


    - Normal AC joint space 2-4mm
    - Normal: AC joint space: 2-4 mm
    o increased: AC joint separation, clavicular erosion/absorption
    o decreased: degenerative joint disease
