Lighting For Ecology has resulted from Kim's deep

concern in improving our environment. We believe
that each one ol us should share in the responsi-
bility to preserve and prolect lhe natural and man-
made beauty in which we live.

During the pasl decade outdoor lighling has been

marked by lremendous achievement in lamp tech-
nology and by a demand lor higher levels ol illumi-
nation. Simultaneously, there has been an increas-
ing neglect ol lhe ecological eflects of outdoor
lighting. During daylight hours lhe outdoor lightinq
lixlure has ollen become an unrelated aeslhelic
form, clashing with its surroundings, At night the
lixlure often produces a nightmare ol glare, thereby
becoming a source of visual pollution.

wall mounting
Wall mounting is an excellent way to achieve both
aesthetic and security lighting around buildings while
eliminating the cost of poles. Wall mounting the Kim
EKG series fixtures is an ideal application boih
phoiometrically and aesthetically. lts assymetrical
distribution throws ljght away from the building where
it is needed, while its handsome form blends with and
com plements the surrounding architecture.
