1A) INT. STARS GYM, MATTED AREA. DAY, TITLE SEQUENCE

Various Shots: REZA skipping, punching the bag and shadow boxing.

Cut To:

1B) INT. STARS GYM, CHANGING ROOM. DAY.

Dolly shot- camera moving down the gym chaining room. We then turn right and see
the end of boxing hand wrap on the floor. The camera follows the hand wrap and it
leads to REZA’S hands. REZA, early 20’s, boxing shorts, tank top, is nervous waiting
in the chaining room.

GET B-ROLL OF THEM- FOOT MOVEMENTS – MOVING AROUND IN RING-

FAKING – THEM THROUGH THE ROPES – THE ROUND TIMER

ROUND 1 (PART 1)

REZA throws an aggressive LEFT HOOK (hit), RIGHT HOOK (block), LEFT
UPPERCUT (hit), LEG KICK (hit).

REZA standing in front faking

YAD JAB (slip), RIGHT HAND (blocked).

REZA JAB (hit), REZA ROUND HOUSE (hit).

WHIP PAN- REZA coaches ‘COMMON REZA’

WHIP PAN- YAD coaches looking frustrated.

WHIP PAN- Fight REZA SPINNING BACK KICK- YAD falls to the ropes REZA
comes in looking angry. (from side angle) RIGHT HOOK, LEFT HOOK, UPPER
CUT’S BODY, FRONT PUNCHES. (get a few shots of REZA and YAD)

CORNERS IN (PART 2)

BUZZ!!!! ROUND TIMER

REZA STOPS PUNCHING. REZA turns to his corner

REZA CORNER, SCOTT coming into the ring through ropes, SCOTT giving advice.

YAD CORNER. Basil giving advice to YAD.

BEN watching YAD.

ROUND 2 (PART 3)

B-ROLL REZA and YADISLAV (YAD) moving around the ring some close ups of
their movement.

CLOSE UP BEN, looking concerned

YAD getting up from the floor

WHIP PAN - to – SCOTT, kill him expression

WHIP PAN – to – REZA, reaction to SCOTT, then walks forwards again to fight.

The two are fighting again, moving around the ring, REZA is hesitant.

REZA CORNER- SCOTT ‘FIGHT!’

Back to REZA looking nervous

YAD tries to punch REZA, RIGHT OVERHAND, REZA rolls and uppercut counter.

YAD looks bloody and beaten up

REZA hesitates, then troughs a RIGHT HAND.

REACTION of BEN looking horrified

REZA RIGHT HOOK, REZA LEFT HOOK

YAD stumbling back

CLOSE UP YAD looking bloody and beaten up.

REZA FRONT KICK – REZA moves in

YAD against the ropes- REZA LEFT/ RIGHT HOOK BODY then LEFT/ RIGHT
HOOK HEAD

YAD stumbling around the ring- REZA moving towards him

CLOSE UP BEN looking for the towel/ about to explode

BEN goes for the towel- YAD COACH stops him

REZA SIDE KICK

BEN gets the towel and throughs it towards the ring

REZA- faint, faint, Spinning Wheel Kick

REZA’S heel connecting with YAD’s face.

The RED towel floating into the ring

YAD face with blood shaming onto the canvas.

REZA shocked.

BEN and YAD COACHES running into the ring.

BEN death stares REZA.

END.

REZA and YAD’S fight is the focus of the montage, that runs linearly. REZA is clearly
the better fighter. To break up the montage various shots of: REZA COACH/ REZA
TEAMMATES/ NAOMI/ YAD COACH and BEN watching on the side of the ring
cheering and screaming and the round timer.

As montage approaches an end, soundtrack gets louder and cutting speeds up, to
create an tense atmosphere. YAD begins to bleed from cuts developed through the
fight. More EXTREME CLOSE UP shots are used of REZA and YAD.

Quick Flashes of various images: YAD lying on the cavous with blood out coming out
of his left nose, NAOMI talking to BOXER1, REZA running out of the gym door,
REZA on the bank of the Thames crying. The montage ends with REZA performing a
of a SPINNING HOOK KICK. This kills YAD.
