Weaknesess swot analysis of Honda

Among the weaknesses in the swot analysis for Honda is have faced shortage of supply.
In 2011 the occurrence of earthquake, tsunami and flooding has destroyed the infrastructure of
the plant in Japan. Recovery took some time. Finally after repair and integration of the
overall recovery system be complete about a year after the disaster.

Besides that Honda also lack budget and funds when the national automotive Infrastructure
seriously damaged. Furthermore Honda face stiff competition with the entry of new vehicles
using electric or alternative fuel engines. Honda also has several environmentally friendly
vehicles, and the company is working towards zero-carbon-emissions.

In addition, employees of Honda Company’s Plant in China went on strike for having low salary
and compensations. That strikes long for more than a month. During that month Company’s
manufacturing totally got stopped and no new manufacturing occurred. It affected Honda’s sales
very much.

Honda malaysia lifting 49,116 units model odyssey and accord for two related

competitors in order to maintain the quality.
