SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION AND RULES

2018

Nanka Yamaguchi Kenjinkai will award scholarships to qualified Yamaguchi Ken-related students who
will graduate from high school this year. The scholarship will be awarded at the Annual
Nanka Yamaguchi Kenjinkai Picnic held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 (tentative date). If
you wish to apply, please submit your application following the rules stated below:

RULES

1. Applicant must be a blood relative of a person from Yamaguchi Ken.

2. Applicant must be willing to attend or help at one of our Yamaguchi Kenjinkai activities (picnic
or New Year's luncheon) within the next two years.

3. Applicant must ensure that the following documents are received by the Nanka Yamaguchi
Kenjinkai Scholarship Committee by May 25, 2018.

To be considered for this scholarship, applicant is responsible for the following:

1. Completing & mailing the application by the deadline date.

2. Ensuring that the Authorization Form is completed by the 12th grade senior counselor or designee
& received by the deadline date.

3. Ensuring that a Letter of Recommendation by one of the applicant's teachers is received (either
attached to your application or sent separately by the teacher) by the deadline date.
