Objectives
I am striving to be the most effective and efficient High School Business Educator. I aim to reach students of all
backgrounds and needs, and will be a strong asset to any school or education team.

Teaching Experience
Student Teaching: Saint Mary’s Central High School, Bismarck, ND

I performed my Student Teaching Placement at St. Mary’s Central High School in the classes of Business Law I
and II, Accounting I and II, Entrepreneurship, and Financial Literacy. I full taught for three weeks during my 12
week placement.

Practicum II: Shiloh Christian High School, Bismarck, ND

Instructor: Dawn Ulmer
I performed my second practicum teaching experience at Shiloh Christian High School in both Personal Finance
and Business Communication. I taught five lessons in this experience.

Practicum I: St. Mary’s Central High School, Bismarck, ND

I performed my first practicum teaching experience at St. Mary’s Central High School in both Personal Finance
and Web Design classes. I taught one lesson in this experience.

Work Experience
Pride Inc. Youth Mentor, Bismarck, ND
May 2017-December 2017
I worked as a direct support professional for individuals with disabilities or troubled home lives. In this role I
helped individuals become more involved in the Bismarck/Mandan community.

First Steps Learning Centers, Bismarck, ND

May 2016-March 2016
I worked as the school age instructor and closing staff leader. I was responsible for making sure children were
cared for.

Trinity Youth Camp, Bottineau, ND

Summer 2012-Summer 2017
I have worked as both counselor and director. As counselor, I was responsible for my campers during the
entire camp. As director, I was responsible for creating camp agenda and activities while supervising counselor
staff.

University of Mary, Bismarck, ND, 3.58 GPA
B. A. in Business Education
 I took classes which prepared me for teaching and managing high school and middle school
business education classrooms.
Minor in Theology/Philosophy
 Took classes in theology and philosophy which expanded my knowledge in Catholic and Christian
Theology.
Minor in Special Education
 I took classes which prepared me to help and educated K-12 students with disabilities.

I graduated from Velva High School in 2014.

 Participated in and led service projects, while learning about educational leadership.

 Certified North Dakota Speech judge since 2015.
 Assisted in coaching St. Mary’s Speech team in 2018.

 I am a strong leader with a great deal of experience in leading groups of different ages and skill sets.
 I am good at communicating with those I work with, and the students I serve.
 I have experience in music, athletics, and multiple arts, with the ability to coach and advise in many
areas.
