ABSTRACT

Health development aims to increase awareness,

willingness and ability to give as everyone realized that
the optimum level of public health, one measure of health
that has a big hand in the improvement of health, especially
for childbirth or post partum mother is by providing health
education or counseling about breast treatment, but in
really many post partum mother seldom do treatment because
less knowledge and the low attitude about breast treatment ,
so that in this research aims to detect influence between
heath knowledge and knowledge an attitude post partum mother
about breast treatment.

Methods in this research is a characteristic by one

group pre-post test, the sample is the post partum primipara
mothers on the north Masbagik village area, sum of the
sample in this research is 30 (thirty) respondent with
incidental sampling technique, but technique of the data by
questioner and interview.

Annalisa data of the result from post partum mothers

knowledge is very good (6,7%), good (48,3%), not good (50%),
and very not good (0%), but attitude of breast treatment at
the post partum mothers is very good (6,6%), good (60%), not
god (33,3%), and very not good (0%), paired of the t-test
result with significance level 0,05 had got
correlation/influence between health knowledge to knowledge
and attitude about breast treatment by knowledge and
attitude about breast treatment by knowledge level is t
count= 6, 150 and attitude level is t count=12,325, and
level is t table=2,045.

Aimed on the result researcher propose to health

instance east Lombok regency for increase socialization
about breast treatment to post partum mothers as special for
post partum primipara mothers together religious figure and
social figure, for Puskesmas north Masbagik(local clinic
north Masbagik) to increase health knowledge frequency by
advice midwife, nurse, and posyandu order, condition in this
research is have correlation/influence between health
knowledge to knowledge an attitude post partum mothers about
brest treatment in north Masbagik (the Masbagik Puskesmas of
work area).
