Rs.10200-25700 (backlog), equivalent years and not 1 SC] (ii) Registration as over 30 qualified Nurse years and Midwife with the Maharashtra Nurses' Midwives' and Health Visitors Council (iii) One year's experience of Nursing after obtaining the qualification.
2. X-Ray Technician(Jr.) 2( 1 SC) (i) SSC or its Not below 18
Rs.10200-25700 equivalent years and not (ii) Diploma in over 30 Radiography years (iii) One year experience as Radiographer in a Hospital/Clinic
3. Laboratory 2 (i) SSC or its Not below 18
Technician(Jr.) equivalent years and not Rs.10200-25700 (ii) Diploma in Medical over 30 Laboratory years Technology from a Government recognized institute. (iii) One year experience as Medical Laboratory Technician in a recognized institute.
4. Jr. Physiotherapist 1 OBC (i) A Degree in Not below 20
Rs.13600-32400 Physio-Therapy years and not of a recognised over 30 University or years diploma of the Physio- Therapy School, KEM Hospital, Mumbai or an equivalent qualification. (ii) One year experience in the Physio-therapy Department of a general hospital. II. Marine Division 5. VTMS Operator Gr.II 7 (1 ST, (i) SSC or its Not below 25 Rs.9400-22000 1 OBC) equivalent years and not examination over 40 years passed. (ii) License to operate VHF (Inland Maritime). (iii) Proficient in use of Computer. (iv) At least 5 years experience of sailing on a ship as Radio Officer or Junior Navigating Officer OR should have held the post of Chief Petty Officer who is Radar Plotter from the Indian Navy. (v) Ability to swim. Preference will be given to candidates who have sailed on ships as Radio Officer and have 2nd Class/ Special Class Certificate of proficiency in Radio Telegraphy (Maritime Mobile) III. Telecom Division 6. Jr. Engineer Gr.III 6 (1 SC, A Diploma in Not below Rs.11000-29400 1 ST, Electronics/Electrical/ 18 years and (for work relating to 2 OBC) Telecommunications/ not over Telecom, Data Networking/Computer 30 years. communication Technology by the Network and State Board of Electronics) Technical Education with minimum 2 years experience. OR Graduate with Certifications like CCNA/MCSE/CNE OR Post Graduate Diploma in System Administration/ Networking from NCST or Certificate from any institute which conducts equivalent examination for Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Computer Science/ Networking, recognised by AICTE.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualification and experience
will have to appear for a written test on the technical subject and interview at Mumbai.
2. If the number of applications received for any post is large, the
administration reserves the right to limit the number of candidates by considering higher qualifications/experience.
3. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of candidates
belonging to SC/ST and 3 years in case of candidates belonging to OBC.
4. Central Government orders on reservation in service in case of
SC/ST/OBC candidates apply.
5. Work timings will be of 8 hours duration and in shifts.
6. Perquisites include Port quarters or house rent allowance, transport
reimbursement, leave, facility of leave encashment once a year, leave travel concession for self and family, free medical aid for self and dependent family/members, etc. and covered with the new Contributory Pension Scheme.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Candidates must apply in the prescribed format duly affixed with
latest passport sized photograph.
2. No certificates/testimonials should be attached. However,
candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC should attach certified copy of the caste certificate including the non-creamy layer certificate in case of OBC candidate and certificate of validity in case of SC/ST candidates. 3. Application should be submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs.100 (non-refundable) from any scheduled bank drawn in favour of 'The Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer, Mumbai Port Trust, payable at Mumbai' mentioning name and post applied on reverse of the Demand Draft. SC/ST candidates are exempt from this payment.
4. Incomplete or unsigned applications or applications without
photograph or prescribed fee will stand rejected.
5. Applications received after the last date will be invalid. The Port Trust will not be responsible for postal delays.
6. Applications for posts at Sl.Nos. 1 to 4 may be addressed to the
Chief Medical Officer, Mumbai Port Trust Hospital, Nadkarni Park, Wadala(East), Mumbai - 400 037.
7. Applications for posts at Sl.Nos. 5 and 6 may be addressed to the
Manager (SOM), Services Department, Mumbai Port Trust, Port House, Shoorji Vallabhdas Marg, Ballard Estate, Mumbai- 400 001. The envelope should be superscribed "Application for the post of ”.
8. Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other
action contrary to the law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
9. Persons in service of Government/Semi-Government
Organisations/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel.
10. The last date for receipt of applications is 20.9.2010.
11. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
