AUTOMATIC BRAKE FAILURE INDICATOR AND ENGINE OVER
HEATING ALARM
SYNOPSIS:

The aim is to design and develop a control system based an electronically


controlled automatic BRAKE failure indicator by using IR Sensor and engine over
heating alarm by using heat sensor. Automatic BRAKE failure indicator and engine
over heating alarm is consists of IR sensor circuit, Heat sensor Circuit, Control Unit
and frame. The sensor is used to detect the BRAKE wire. There is any disconnection
of the BRAKE wire or cutting of any few turns of BRAKE wire, the control signal
to the alarm unit. Similarly the heat sensor is fixed to the engine and this heat is
measured and giving the alarm signal when the engine heat exceeds the temperature
limit.
1. INTRODUCTION

The vehicle monitoring system can be easily implemented by using


PSoC (Programmable system-on-chip). As said above, it can be dynamically
reconfigured by suitably programming at the run time. However, this programming
can be done by using high level language such as 'C' with which most of the
hardware designers would be familiar. This makes ‘C’ the natural language for
system-on-chip.

An instant tracking system is needed for vehicles carrying inflammable


fuels, explosives, etc. in such cases GPS (Global Positioning System) can be used
more effectively. This is going to be costlier. This paper presents cost effective
and more compact equipment for various applications.
An automatic monitoring system for vehicles can be established with
monitoring stations located at major junctions, cities through which the vehicle
ply. As the vehicle approach a monitoring station, it has to automatically identify
itself and upload critical data about the vehicle and operating conditions such as
temperature, speed, fuel, battery indication, coolant level etc.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
 This system determinates and performs the according to the speed Sensing
circuits.
 Sensor sense the interruption signal sends to the control unit.
 At once the control unit function will start.
 At that time engine speed is maximum the fuel system cutoff automatically
Thus our project works satisfactory.
