Fontosnak tartom felhívni a figyelmet, hogy minden sportolónak
lehetősége van továbblépni az állati fehérjéken túl és kipróbálni valami

Tizennégy egyetemi hallgató férfit kértek meg, hogy vegyenek részt egy
kísérletben.9 A feladat az volt, hogy naponta kétszer, nyolc egymást követő
napon igyanak meg 350 ml cseresznyelevet. Egy igen megerőltető
bicepszedzést követő 4 nap alatt 22%-ról 4%-ra csökkent a férfiak
erővesztesége. A cseresznye ilyen jelzésértékű hatása nemcsak ital
formájában eredményes. A kísérletben ugyanis nem tudtak volna placebo
csoportot létrehozni, ha valódi cseresznyét kellett volna alkalmazni a
kontrollcsoportok között. Aktív sportolók számára kifejezetten ajánlom a
cseresznye fogyasztását, főleg akkor, ha súlyzós edzéseket hajtunk végre.

A Matcha zöld tea egy finomra őrölt por, melyet a legkiválóbb minőségű
tealevélből készítenek. Mivel az egész levelet felhasználják, ezért sokkal
több tápanyaghoz juthatunk adagonként. Egy jó minőségű zöld teában
több, mint 700 vegyületet azonosítottak.45 De az egészségre gyakorolt
jótékony hatását igazán két vegyületnek tulajdonítják: EGCG és L-theanin.
A kutatások azt mutatták ki, hogy akár 137-szer több EGCG található
benne, mint más zöld teában.38 Az EGCG, más néven az epigallokatekin-
gallát egy olyan szerves vegyület (katekin, antioxidáns), amely fontos
szerepet játszhat bizonyos betegségek legyőzésében.39, 40
