Camp Counselor for Muscular Dystrophy Summer Camp (2014):
 Assisted with camp activities for children experiencing various neuromuscular diseases

SERVICE
 Endless Possibilities Dance: dance classes for children with developmental
disabilities, requiring manual facilitation of movement and modification of activity
 Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE): community based
alternative to nursing home care, allowing seniors with extensive health needs to
remain at home and receive care at the PACE Center during the day, facilitation of
programs to maintain physical, cognitive, and emotional health
 Massage Monday’s: provided massages to women with babies in the Duke NICU, or
antepartum unit due to pregnancy complications, to promote relaxation and decrease
stress of hospitalization
 Moving Day for Parkinson’s: highlights movement and exercise as a symbol of hope
and progress because of its essential role in treating Parkinson’s disease
