ASOM | 11 - 15 Sept
Gate Ministries | Sandton

11 September 2107 | Session 1 |

THAMO NAIDOO (INTRODUCTION):

April 2001 was the beginning of ASOM. There have been 30 schools over 17 years.
The beginnings were extremely humble beginnings. They were so simple. Our
church, the school started in Pietermaritzburg in a congregation God asked us to
plant in 1994. This church was placed in 1994. God ejected me from the
denomination that I was in. God told me that He is about to start a new thing. Be
prepared to give up everything you have and I will not bore you with the details.

God gave us a clear word that we were not to ask anyone to join us. He did the
same thing in 2012 when we started this church, to “not ask anyone to join us? All
the people who attend the church in Sandton, we have not asked a single person
to come join this ministry. Maybe others have asked but we (Mirolyn and myself)
have not asked one person.

In 1994-1996, these were formative years in our lives. We were not fully in the
apostolic culture. We were in a transitional ministry. We knew there was something
beyond the charismatic background. During those days, we spent many days
fasting and prayer. God delivered me from many things like reading; I love reading
and studying. God asked me to lay down my thesis. He stopped my love for
books. If I picked up a book, by the first page, I would fall asleep. I would pick up a
Bible, begin reading and I couldn’t put it down.

I don’t want to waste your time but you need to understand humble beginnings.
What God does is a sovereign move. In those days, we did schools, this is why I
wanted a low key to worship. Those days, we never did worship for the first three
days of the school. God showed us how the anointing would show up through the
Word. Usually, by the 3rd day, the Glory of God would show up and then the
worship team would join us. I don’t want music to try and stimulate the
atmosphere.

So, we started like that and then we used to have 7 days of school. We started on
a Monday and we used to continue n until Sunday. Those were long days. We
didn’t have air conditioning. We had fans. We had 6 sessions a day.

Mark 1:1-15 (NKJV)

1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. 2 As it is written in the
Prophets:
“Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.”
3 “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His
paths straight.’ ”4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of
repentance for the remission of sins. 5 Then all the land of Judea, and those from
Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing
their sins.
6 Now John was clothed with camel's hair and with a leather belt around his waist, and he
ate locusts and wild honey. 7 And he preached, saying, “There comes One after me who is
mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. 8 I indeed
baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
John Baptizes Jesus 9 It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of
Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 And immediately, coming up from the
water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. 11
Then a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Satan Tempts Jesus.12 Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. 13 And He
was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts;
and the angels ministered to Him. Jesus Begins His Galilean Ministry. 14 Now after John
was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in
the gospel.”

All of this is situating at the point that Jesus would reach the age of 30. Thrity has
multiple meanings in the Scripture. One of the fundamental meanings is that it
means “maturity.” Even the sinful fallen men at the point of fall lived 30 x 30. Even
the man of sin reached a maturation in this multiple of thirty. Joseph was thirty
when he stood before Pharoah, king of Egypt. The number thirty is also an age
where someone comes into their mature ministry. The number 30 also is a number
of betrayal. It is the number that is used to measure out the value for the sale of
`jesus. In the old testament, 30 shekels was paid for the owner of an ox. Judas was
given 30 shekels for the sell of Jesus. Thirty is also the number which a priest was
brought into the priesthood. Their function of ministry in the Tabernacle was from
the age of 30 until the age of 50. If you took the age of thirty, you could take it to
literally mean 12 plus 18.

If you divided Jesus’ live there are two watermarks: 12 years including his
discourses in the Temple and 18 which is 3 x 6; a 6,6,6; a kind of maturation of our
lives. It’s a maturation of grace upon the spirit of man. Please note these. Thirty in
the life of Jesus is the recognition of Jesus by John as the Lamb. So when John
said, “behold the Lamb,” he was saying, “Behold the Priest” Later on, that is the
righteousness.

Matt 3:13-17

Thirty is also the age, in the account of Jesus’ baptism; which is something foreign
in the OT; while John was announcing the maturation, a voice said “This is My
Son,.” It is a heavenly proclamation of Sonship. Jesus would make a statement
(John 18:33-37); 30 is the age of kingship.

John 18:33-37 (NKJV

) 33 Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to
Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?”
34 Jesus answered him, “Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did
others tell you this concerning Me?”
35 Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests
have delivered You to me. What have You done?”
36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were
of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to
the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?”
Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born,
and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to
the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”Thirty is the age of
maturity, Sonship, Priesthood, Kingship.

This age is showing and announcing that someone has come into fullness. We are
living in an interesting age. The church has to be in a corporate maturity. Let me
take a few steps back of how the schools began. I want to make a statement here,
I’m not a popular guy, and some of our speakers are also not popular.

The methodology we use; I intruded years ago; post-resurrection methodology. It

comes from Luke 24. I read the entire chapter. It was given to me via revelation.
The first thing He said to me, in this methodology we must have a logo centric
view of what I am doing; the Word centered view. You cannot look at this without
looking at the Scripture in the way that God wanted us to see it.

Psalms cannot be sung. You must first encounter God’s word before you can sing
about God’s Word. We have to teach people how to walk with the Word of God.

You must be Christ-centered. We have been teaching in the schools that if you
don’t have a revelation of Christ; you don’t have a revelation of God. You must
have a revelation of Christ and the hidden word. The aim was to open the
Scriptures. It wasn’t easy. We never marketed the schools. Everything we did was
through email and through word of mouth. Sometimes, we would forget to
Page 4 | ASOM Day 1 session 1
announce them. The first thing we did was to not speak with our opinions and
theories but we came with the Word of God. We opened it with the Scripture.

There are three phases: Breaking of bread - creating the table where the
fellowship could be encountered - the manifestation of Christ revealed.

The third phase - opened their eyes of understanding.

This allowed for us to begin to see the manifestation of Christ being revealed.
The third phase in this journey of Luke 24; he had to open their
understanding; which means the assimilation of how they should coherently
view the things that God had for them. They couldn’t see it until He appeared
to them in His glorified Body.

This is when their minds were assimilated.

There are four situational things which happened on this journey:

Acts 2 - is the model; and they devote themselves steadfastly in the breaking of
bread. These four things can be unpacked into huge volumes. Mark the words
here; DOCTRINE, FELLOWSHIP, BREAKING OF BREAD, PRAISE (NOT spiritual
warfare, binding/loosing, travail). We are talking about spiritual conversations
thought an intimate talk with God.

On the road, DOCTRINE was given to them. It is something which is critical. I

heard someone say that “we don’t need doctrine in the church; it’s just the opinion
of someone,.” The early church gave themselves wholly to the Apostles doctrine.
All Scripture was given first for doctrine and then later for revelation.

When they went into the house and He made like He was going, the Bible says
that He sat at the table. The second things is that He did not yet reveal himself. He
sat at the table; it’s a metaphoric reference to fellowship. It is a patriarchal
structure.

WE’ve created an environment for Word to be given. The third thing is that they
broke bread. The greatest thing is when the Word transformed, transfigured,
transmuted to grace. When the word wasn’t just esoterical and informational but
the Word now became grace to me. When we came to the word, it wasn’t just to
get information but it was full of grace. That grace had to be broken. Now, we have
people who come; one of the biggest challenges was how to reduce the amount of
speakers because I didn’t want this to become a glorified conference. We have so
many gifted people to do the work. We didn’t want a few sermons which just threw
out popular thought.

Page 5 | ASOM Day 1 session 1

The amazing thing is that every speaker came to listen tot he others and submit to
the grace which the others operated through. We have all become richer and have
been adjusted. We are sharper and fine-tuned. We have some robust discussions
behind the scenes. Those were good respectful engagements.

Go study Jesus and how He blessed them. He released impartations. It took praise
to get there. Some people have been very offended about my view about spiritual
warfare. This is a level of engagement that God is bringing us into to; this mundane
silly way that people operate now. There’s a higher level of spiritual engagement
which will take place. It’s a level of engagement, of harmony, of shareholding of the
highest levels of speaking to God.

I received something that there will be 3 levels of spiritual engagement.

1) driving out demons from systems of administration that have been mutualated
by forces of darkness. Driving demons through people but it won’t happen
through that archaic way that people bothered to read through witchcraft.

2) Healing of systems

3) Healing of people

That brings us to the place for 30 years where we’ve journeyed through this
journey where God will be releasing us. We all have a mandate from God. I think
this school will be a school of release. We will be commissioned to establish the
mandate of God on this earth. This is the time of the manifestation of the Kingdom
of God and the healing of nations and the systems of the world like never before.
We will see where whole regions will see Godlike they have never seen before. It
will be a glorious day.

It is in that, against that background that I will open the 30th and final school of
ministry (people clapping). My prayer is that many of you will leave this place
anointed, unctioned and released into eh Kingdom of God. It is now time to finish
the Word that God has called you to do.
