 March 26th-
Parents, as our children continue to develop their reading Vocabulary Story due.

skills, this month we will take reading on an adventure

throughout the world. We will learn and define ten new
words that will lead us to develop a story of our own.
Students will develop their reading comprehension as they
discuss these new words and create a further idea, than just
learning how to read and write their new word. Let’s begin
our adventure and remember that reading and Writing can
be fun in so many ways!

 Vocabulary Sentences:
 Students are to create 10
sentences using all
vocabulary words.
 Your sentence must have
at least 6 words.
 Make sure we are starting
with a capital letter and
placing a period at the
end of our sentences.

Story Book:
 Students will use all
vocabulary words to
develop a story, they
are to be as creative as
possible, use their
imagination to create a
fictional story we will
share with the class.
 Must use all 10 words
 At least sections to the
story book
 No more than 2
sentences per page
 Must include title page
and author’s name.
