de Torres, I am doing two practices in the E.S.E Integrated Hospital of the same
municipality and I hope in September to graduate.

According with the information above, write a story, use at least 4 of the 6 sentences:

That morning Martha closed the door in Jairo's face because she did not want her brother to
discover what she left in her diary, all because it had to happen, since that tragic day that
the train crashed because of a human failure, leaving many dead, those images that are not
erased from his mind, people screaming for help and many other things, that only in his
diary can vent, but Jairo tells Raúl her husband who wants to know what is happening with
Martha his wife who gave his manners and found the newspaper, he read it, he knew that it
was not right, but it was important to know what was happening, since the stability of his
family was at risk, but what he discovered left him sitting , Martha had a very advanced
cáncer and she was fighting alone with the disease, poor thing, how much pain he said, he
talked to her, he asked her forgiveness for reading his diary and made him understand the
importance of everyone being involved in the process of her recovery, that they loved her
and that she was very important in that family. Martha understood all the love that was in
them and for them, so they started a treatment in which everyone participated, even the
smallest child who ran away from his garden, went to find his brother Ben with whom he
climbed the mountain to pray and cry to God for the life of his mommy, in exchange they
promised that they would make good children very obedient, respectful, studious and that
they would be on the lookout for their mother and that they would take care of each other,
they got off the mountain and went to his house to meet his family to mark a new
beginning, a new story full of love, understanding and mutual solidarity.

There are three main parts to a story:

The BEGINNING says where and when a story happens and who the people or characters
are.

The MIDDLE tells what happens to these people.

The CONCLUSION tells how the story ends.

SALLY'S PROBLEM

Sally sat at the back of the classroom, looking out of the window. She didn't hear what the
teacher said because she was thinking about her big problem.........

Sally jumped up and ran to the phone. She just knew everything was going to be alright
again.

Now write two ideas what Sally's problem could be:

1. tube relations at 13 years

2. I am pregnant

Choose the idea you like best, and write about it. Write the story again putting your middle
between the beginning and the end of the story of Sally's problem.

I did not listen to what the teacher said because I was thinking about her, she was just
thinking about how she told her parents that she had had sex with her boyfriend and that
everything has its consequences, sometimes for lack of knowledge she is expecting a baby
with only 13 years old, where your body has not fully developed and you should be more
careful both the mother and the baby, and as if the father of the child does not want to know
anything about the pregnancy, since he had to have taken care, I was thinking how to tell
my parents so they do not know about other people, she decided to take into consideration
the great love that they have for me so Sally jumped and ran to the phone, told her parents
everything who offered her support and they promised to protect them, but she must
complete her studies so that she has better possibilities in life. She only knew in her heart
that everything would be fine again.

Nicknames are used to describe people, places or things. Many American Cities have
nicknames. They can help create identities, build unity and help people feel a sense of pride
in their Community.
Some years ago, marketing and advertising experts were asked to Choose the best
nickname for an American City. The winner was the nation’s biggest city, New York. The
nickname they chose was “The Big Apple”.
Where did the nickname “Big Apple” originally come from? In the nineteen seventies, New
York suffered from image problems. The number of Visitor was falling. A campaign was
launched to give the city a new image and a new nickname. The New York board chose the
nickname “The Big Apple”
It was not the first time the nickname had been used to describe the city. A journalist for a
New York Newspaper had used the name “The Big Apple” to Describe New York in the
nineteen twenties.
The Big Apple was also the Name of a night club in the Harlem area of New York City in
the nineteen thirties, as well as the name of a Popular dance and hit song around that time.
“The Big Apple” is not the only nickname for America’s Biggest city. Almost one hundred
nicknames that describe New York have been Recorded. Some of the best known
nicknames for New York are “The Capital of the World”, “Empire City”, “Gotham”, “The
City So Nice They Named it Twice” and “The City That Never Sleeps.”
