5. Aim/Course Description : This course emphasizes the basic concepts about management; the
course is focused on the information, analyses, organizational processes, and skills and
business judgment managers must use to implement in the business.

6. Prerequisites : Knowledge on Management and engineering ethics

7. Course Objectives:
 grasp the basics of management functions.
 understand basic management principles applying to individuals, small and large
organizations.
 appreciate the ideal characteristics of a good manager.
 create ethical, social and environmental awareness.
 understand the importance of ethics and sustainability in the modern organization.

8. Course Outcomes:
Students should be able to
 work as an effective team member and leader.

 use problem-solving strategies and critical thinking in real life situations.
 develop a position on the relation between personal morality and professional codes.
 begin considering larger-scale ethical issues related to science and engineering.
