Only students with a valid excuse will be allowed to take a “make-up” exam (an essay
exam) within one week of holding the scheduled exam.

Course Description: This course is designed to provide dental students with the basic
knowledge in cellular and systemic physiology and presents an introduction to
fundamentals of physiological principles required for their further clinical education. The
functions of the nervous, endocrine, digestive, muscle, circulatory, respiratory and urinary
system are discussed. Some important interactions between organ systems, especially those
which may be of significance to the specialized health professional will be covered in this
course.
