with the letter D.

Opening/Introduction: (Bullet points)


- I will introduce the lesson by telling a story about letter D- which is about Disney land, and the
boy who called Dan, and he will meet in the story dolphin, doll and dinosaur.
- After the story telling, I will ask the students questions about the story and what they notice about
each word and with what start, and how they can write the letter D/d, show them the capital letter
and the lowercase d.

- After that, I will play with them a game which is about the hidden picture that start with
letter D. First of all, I will show them letter D then a part of the picture, if they did not
know the picture I will show them the other half tell they know the word.

The hidden pictures is (duck- Dolphin-Dinosaur)


- After that game I will throw the ball to the students and who can catch the ball, they will
gave me a word that start with letter D.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


Learning Center 1 Title: Dinosaur letter D maze
- Students will color letter D to find the way that helps the dinosaur to eat.
- This activity for students who are in low ability.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

-Students will have a worksheet that has 5 different picture and they have to color the picture
that start with the letter D.
- This activity is for Medium level students.

- In this area students will find the pictures that start with letter D, and they will make letter
D by pictures.

- This activity for the high level students.

In the end of the lesson I will gave each students a white bored and marker, then I will let them to
write or draw what they learn in this lesson, so I can check if they understanding the lesson or not.

The lesson was about letter D, the aims of the lesson is letting the students recognize the letter and the
sound of the letter, writing letter D in a correct way.

I tried my best to deliver the concept of the lesson in easy way, so I start the lesson by telling a story, and
the story it’s all about letter D, I think that the students were focusing on me and a grab their attention
because I used visual strategy which using pictures and the pictures were moving. However, I think that
my voice tone voice has lack of enthusiasm, or when I tell them the story I did not tell them with lots of
excitement, and I was reading fast so that will not make them want to know what the next events of the
story.

After the story we played a game and it was the hidden pictures, that game were successful, because the
students were fully engaged, after that game, I decide to through a ball randomly and let the students to
give me a word that start with letter D, most of the students did not said a new word, that because I did
not give them a time to think or discuss to each other, then I should through the ball and let them answer.
Also, I want to change this strategy to let the students chose who is the next, that will let the students
more excite. After that, I show them a video how to write letter D, and I let them to write the letter in the air
and in the table by using their figures.

The classroom management were good, I used the happy and sad face strategy, when they making noisy
I raise the sad face, and they start to behave, the students were actually listing to me and doing what I
tells them. Moreover, the students were in the activity part enjoying doing the activities and I notice the
students were doing the activities the correct way.

In the end of the lesson, I achieve my aims by cheek the students understanding by using white board to
each one, and let them to write letter D, and I observe each students and if they can to write or not, some
students were struggling with writing so I make for them a dots in a letter D shape and let them to trace it.
