Keep

it LIVE at Lakeside!!

I’ve done it to myself and I’ve had calls from many other people
that have missed getting tickets to events... very disappointing but no
ones fault but our own.

When there are advance tickets, I get the ads under “Upcoming
Events” later in the newsletter and that’s for two reasons... of course to
tell you about an upcoming show but to help the producers of the shows
to arrange for their staff and food.

Some events are in smaller venues and you really have to be on
your toes to get tickets then and some are without much notice as in the
case of The Ginetta’s Vendetta Show this Saturday... I knew she was
coming but didn’t get details in time for last week’s newsletter. (Details
under Saturday’s listings below).

Also, not all shows are BASS (Best Available Seating Selection) but
are specific seats or tables.

I had a friend contact me today for Shriner Ribfest tickets... she
has two guests in town and is going to miss one of the premier events of
the year... tickets all gone.

Some events have tickets “miraculously appear” which is usually a
disaster for someone and especially when it means the event runs out of
food because of overselling... big time disappointment and horrible
news if it is an annual affair... next year could be bad!

Oh and if you book a table at a restaurant and for some reason
can’t make it PLEASE call the restaurant and cancel... very unfair to the
restaurant and another person who would have used the reservation...
this goes on quite a bit down here.
