Daylight-white light creates a modern ambience as well
as pleasant brightness. The long-life LED modules can
be run directly from existing outlets and are suitable for
a variety of interior lighting. They also consume very low
levels of energy.

CFC-free electric cooler which chills its contents to
approx.   ° C below the temperature inside the vehicle.

 BMW junior seat I-II, with/without ISOFIX
Suitable for children weighing  to   kg (age approx.
 months to  years). The seat features a restraint
cushion and a height-adjustable back. The use of the
ISOFIX function is permitted for children weighing up
to   kg. Children weighing more than this should be
secured without the restraint cushion, using the
seatbelt. Available in various colour schemes.
 Sunscreen
Quick and easy to attach to the rear windscreen and rear
side windows. When not in use it can be stored in the
bag supplied.
 BMW Baby Seat  +, with/without ISOFIX
Designed for children weighing between  and   kg (age
up to around   months). A seat reducer is included. The
baby seat shell is mounted facing away from the direction
of travel, either on the rear seat, or, provided the airbag is
deactivated, on the front passenger seat. The shell can
be detached from the reboard frame and used separately
as a carrycot. With detachable sun canopy. Various colour
schemes.
Clean Bag (not pictured)
This textile bag with a removable plastic liner can be
quickly and easily attached to the nets on the seat backs.
 Backrest bag, black
Perfectly fi tting bag attaches easily to the rear of the
driver’s or the front passenger’s seat. With compartments
in various sizes for smaller items. Also available with red
or beige detailing.

 Rear storage bag
A combination of exceptional design and intelligent
functionality. Attached to the back seat with the
centre seat belt, it can be packed with items at home
and provides useful additional storage, including two
exterior cupholders. Made from hard-wearing material.
Two further variants available, with either beige or red
detailing.
  Auxiliary heating
Warms the car’s interior in winter before you start your
journey. In the start-up phase, the engine is also
protected and fuel consumption is reduced by the
preheated cooling circuit. Activated by remote control
or directly via the onboard system.

 BMW rear DVD system
Includes a monitor with  " colour display integrated into
the centre console and a DVD drive. The DVD system
plays video DVDs and audio CDs in superb quality. It can
also display JPEG images and play back music tracks
(incl. MP format) and videos via standard-format data
CDs, USB sticks and USB drives. When the monitor is
not in use, it pivots    degrees and folds into the armrest
to protect it from damage. It also features AV input which
can be used, for instance, for video cameras or games
consoles.
 CD changer
Integrated into the luggage compartment. For up to six
CDs (also MP CDs).
 Infrared stereo headphones
Specially designed for use with the rear Tablet DVD
system (pic  ). They are exceptionally comfortable, while

 BMW tablet DVD system
Consists of two portable seven-inch monitors, plus two
holders attached to the headrest support bars. The
DVD system can be plugged in to the vehicle’s   V
power socket. The DVD player, integrated into one of
the monitors, can play video DVDs plus photo and
audio CDs (including MP format). In addition, JPEG
images and music fi les on USB sticks and memory
cards of various formats can be viewed or listened to.
The portable monitors can also be used outside the
vehicle. Audio playback is via either the monitors’ built-
in loudspeakers or headphones such as the infrared
stereo headphones from BMW.

 +  Apple iPad holder
In combination with the BMW Car Hotspot, this allows
passengers in the rear to make full use of all the functions
of their iPad. Using the holder, any iPad can be securely
mounted on the base attachment of the Travel & Comfort
 system (see p ), and released at the touch of a button.

 Snap-in media adapter
Secure and stable docking system for Apple iPhone
 G/ GS/ and  S with specifi c mounting for every car
model. Optimum network connection is ensured by the
vehicle’s external aerial. An integrated USB/audio interface
makes for convenient connection of music and video
players in the mobile phone (without the need for an
additional cable). With Cover Art, the album cover related
to the music track (audio fi le) currently being played is
shown in the vehicle display. This allows you to easily
identify the artist or album as you listen. The system is
also suitable for using Apple applications. Additionally,
through an optional snap-in adapter, music fi les stored
on a phone can be played through the car’s audio system
without the need for an adapter cable.

 Park Distance Control
Enables easier parking and manouevring in confi ned
spaces. The distance between the car and an obstacle
is indicated acoustically and, depending on equipment,
shown in the Control Display.
 BMW Portable navigation system
The perfect combination of sophisticated functionality
and cutting-edge design. The latest generation of the
BMW Portable navigation system blends seamlessly
into the vehicle, with no visible wiring. The device is held
securely in place and navigation prompts are relayed
over the vehicle’s loudspeakers. It also includes various
advanced features as standard, such as Lane Assist and
 D building and junction views.

 Rear View camera
Clearly shows the area behind the vehicle on the Control
Display. Interactive lane lines are shown, for example,
so the driver can check if a parking spot is big enough.
The Rear View camera is switched on automatically
when reverse gear is selected (availability depending
on equipment).
Adapter for Apple iPod/iPhone (not illustrated)
Adapter to connect your Apple iPod or iPhone to the
audio system for the display of tracks or playlists. Your
Apple iPod or iPhone is charged via the adapter as

you drive and can be controlled via the multifunction
steering wheel, the iDrive Controller or the radio.
  Digital roadmaps
Up to   per cent of the road network changes every

year – but with the latest digital street maps, you are
always kept in the picture. With an update, the
navigation system will show you the most effi cient
route to your goal, saving time, fuel and protecting
the environment. What's more, each update includes
many new points of interest across   categories,
including sight-seeing and shopping centres, over
one million destinations and, depending on country
version, integrated congestion warnings from the
RDS/TMC (Traffi c Message Channel) functions so
you can gain more time by simply avoiding other
hold-ups. The digital maps are available according to
model as an annual update, including certifi cate, on
DVD or USB stick.

EXCEPTIONALLY FUNCTIONAL SOLUTIONS.  Rear carrier, lockable

ORIGINAL BMW TRANSPORTATION & LUGGAGE ACCESSORIES.
For carrying two bicycles. Even when loaded, the carrier
can be lowered out of the way when you want to open
the tailgate. It can be attached quickly and easily to the
screw points of the tow eyelets and is therefore suitable
for vehicles without a tow bar.

For carrying up to two bicycles (also e-bikes). An
extension set for a third bike is also available. The
holder and bicycles are secured against theft. The
holder can be folded up and stored in the boot (pic  ).

 Tow bar, lockable

Can be used for trailer weights of up to  ,   kg,
depending on model (with a nose weight of up to
  kg). With trailer stability control.

Driver utility set (not pictured)

For your home or journey. Includes selected tools with

the BMW logo, such as bit-holder with chromed blade
and   -piece bit set. Also includes: pocket knife, pocket
lamp and nylon gloves. In a robust nylon wallet with
embossed BMW logo.

Battery charger (not pictured)

The charger is handy and easy to use. Simply plug it
into the socket in the luggage compartment and start
charging. Two versions are available with a maximum
charge current of  . A or  A. Charges   V batteries
with a capacity of up to    Ah (version  A) and ensures
maximum battery life. Ideal for vehicles used seasonally
or for short journeys.

built-in mast carrier, strap eyelets and tensioning straps.

Suitable for carrying up to two snowboards and two pairs

 Racing cycle holder, lockable
Suitable for bicycles with quick-release levers on the
front wheel. A holder for securing the front wheel to
the base support system is also available.
 Touring cycle holder, lockable
Robust attachment for transporting a bicycle with a
frame diameter of   to   mm. A bike can be quickly
attached to the holder with a simple mounting system
and secured with a twist mechanism at the same height
as the base support. Also suitable for mountain bikes.
 Universal holder
Provides secure support even for large, bulky items.
Consists of four infi nitely adjustable holders, four strap
eyelets and two tensioning belts.

 Luggage rack
For the safe transport of bulky items. The luggage rack
is fi xed to the base support system and has a high load
capacity. In sturdy lightweight aluminium, rust-proof and
easy to fi t.

 Dog safety harness
Available in a choice of three sizes, the harness is
designed to secure dogs on the rear seat bench,
thereby enhancing the safety of passengers. The
dog’s lead can also be attached to the harness.
 Ski and snowboard bag
Unlike other similar products, this allows up to four pairs
of skis or three snowboards to be transported cleanly. It
attaches securely to the front lashing eyes in the luggage
compartment, is easy to detach and also has two wheels
so the bag can be pulled with ease outside the vehicle.
Tested according to high BMW quality and safety
standards. Two versions available, with either beige or
red detailing.
 Luggage compartment tie-down straps
Two tear-resistant tie-down straps secure items in the
luggage compartment quickly and safely. Available with
two different fastening mechanisms.

 Loading sill mat
This padded non-slip mat folds out over the loading sill to
protect it against damage. It also provides a place to sit.
