EXT. IN THE MOUNTAIN VALLEY - NIGHT
CAMERA 1 - ZOOM IN
At a cold winter night with clear sky filled with stars, the character
stands in a valley between two mountains. Lost.
CAMERA 2 - CREEP IN - TURNAROUND
In the sky a faint aurora starts to burst out in brightness lighting
up the valley the character is standing in with its gentle colours.
CAMERA 3 - CUT IN
The being looks up to admire the beauty of the night sky brightened up
by the aurora.
CAMERA 4 - CUT AWAY
Upon the impact of the aurora light on the star on its chest, it
suddenly starts to radiate in a golden yellow colour. The character
realizes the glow and gazes into its star mesmerized and confused as
it never has happened to it before.
The character realizes something strange: the star only glows when the
aurora light is shining onto it. He looks confused at first but
enlightened in the next moment. Something inside him tells him to
follow the aurora but does not know why it is just a feeling.
CAMERA 5 - LOW ANGLE
It gazes once again up into the sky and follows the aurora light with
its eyes. Following its gentle curves leads him to the top of a
mountain which happens to be the tallest of the area. The character
shows a gesture of surprise. In the next moment he is ready and
determined to take up its journey to the mountain's top. His journey
begins from here on.
EXT.MOUNTAIN SIDE - NIGHT
CAMERA 1 - MEDIUM SHOT
The character just arrived at the bottom of the mountain ready to take
on the challenge.
CAMERA 2 - LOW ANGLE
He looks up examining the mountain. The further he looks up the
mountain the more his eyes begin to grow, realizing the challenge he
signed up for.
CAMERA 3 - MEDIUM SHOT
Showing once again a gesture of determination, telling itself: "You
can do it!", and starts climbing.
CAMERA 4 - LONG SHOT
In this camera shot the character is shown overcoming a steep edge as
he struggles to grab onto and pulling itself up to it. He eventually
gets over it and shows a gesture of relief. However, when he looks up
again he gets slightly disappointed, looking down for a moment, but
looking up right away with determination in his eyes as he tackles the
next obstacle.
CAMERA 5 - LONG SHOT
In the next scene he is warming up on the mountain side. After a while
way a small snow slide begins to roll down onto its position. However,
it does not realize the avalanche not until briefly before it hits the
being. He gazes up to the danger and looks surprised. The next thing
it know is it is buried under the snow. The character's pops out of
the snow.
EXT.MOUNTAIN TOP - NIGHT
CAMERA 1 - MEDIUM SHOT / ESTABLISHING SHOT
He eventually reaches the top. Filled with joy he falls to the ground,
lying on its back, looking up to the sky, enjoying the view, resting
for a while after the great challenge it has just overcome. While the
character is resting on its back, another being similar to him shows
up right behind him.
CAMERA 2 - MEDIUM SHOT
The other being does some weird ritual unknown to the main character.
It raises its arms into the sky trying to achieve something, but
nothing happens, and it drops its hands in disappointment. The
protagonist comes closer to the other character touching its star,
examining it carefully and realizes that the star looks just like the
one it has on its chest; however, it is covered with cracks thus
making it not shine with its full potential.
CAMERA 3 - MEDIUM SHOT
Looking up to the sky and back to the cracked star, it decides to give
her his own star. Upon receiving his star, she hugs him as a gesture
of saying: "Thank You!" and performs the ritual again. This time to
his surprise she starts to glow in the same golden yellow he was
glowing before. When she stretched out her arms she slowly lifted off
the ground as if she was pulled in by the sky.
CAMERA 4 - EWS
She slowly starts to turn into a fading light and vanished into the
sky leaving him behind.
CAMERA 5 - CUT IN
Lonely he sits down on the ground and gazes once again into the sky.
While looking at the starry night sky lightened up by the aurora, he
discovers a tiny glowing thing making its way towards him.
CAMERA 6 - MID SHOT
He slowly gets up and except the thing to land right in his hands. He
stretches out his arms making a receiving gesture and catches the
slowly falling thing. As he examines it closer he realizes that it was
a star just like the one he gave that girl. Filled with joy he puts on
the star and gazes into the sky with a smile. He then performs the
girl's ritual and experiences the same sensations as her. He lifts off
the ground and starts to glow like the girl did and slowly turns into
a fading light and vanishes into the sky as well.
CAMERA 7 - EWS
From now on they are connected forever by the bond of friendship shown
as a connecting light between their stars.
SCREEN DIPS INTO BLACK
