EPIC IDI Pumps

A. GENERAL NOTES
The parts lists may require additional information to clarify them. The notes in this section are
generally applicable to the whole range of products.
Other notes are specific and note numbers may appear on the parts list either above the description
or in place of the part number of the item concerned. These notes are detailed in the Special Notes
section.

1. Abbreviations used in the parts lists

AR: As Required.
Used where there is a choice of part numbers or quantity depending on assembly or test require-
ments. Where indicated refer to specific notes. Where no specific reference is made in the parts list
refer to workshop manual or test plan.
K/M: Kit Marker
Components that are included in the overhaul kit, ( listed at the end of the parts lists ) are identified
with ¤ in the appropriate column.
X: Sub-assembly
The letter ‘X’ in front of a component description indicates a sub-assembly.

2. Cross Reference Types

Conditional Supersession: Identified by ‘XSX’ prefix and appears in place of part number, reference
to the XSX section will be required.
General Note: Identified by a two character alpha-numeric code (e.g. A7), appearing in either the
quantity or part number column, reference to the ‘Special Notes Section’ below will be required.
Parts List Specific Note: Identified by a two character alpha code (e.g. AF), appearing in either the
quantity or part number column, reference to the note at the end of the specific parts list will be
required.

3. Overhaul Kits
A range of Overhaul Kits has been introduced to service EPIC pumps, each pump parts lists will
specify the correct kit number.

B. SPECIAL NOTES
This section contains information where necessary to clarify the parts list. The note number will
appear in either the qty or part number column and may apply to more than one pump.
