Linking of Universal Account Number (UAN) with Aadhaar

EPFO has already allotted UAN number to all employees eligible for EPS 95. The UAN
number of employees has been already communicated in the March 2017 PF slip. As per
EPFO guidelines linking of Aadhaar with UAN is mandatory.

All employees are requested to update the details by 20th February 2018. EPFO has also
provided facility for online correction of Name and Date of Birth in UAN if not matching
with details recorded in the company.

Employees are requested to ensure that their Name and Date of Birth in the Aadhaar is
matching with UAN. In case of mismatch necessary correction in Aadhaar is required prior
to linking it with UAN.

EPFO is going to implement online pension settlement shortly as per annual meeting of
EPFO. In view of that linking of UAN with Aadhaar is a prerequisite for online pension
settlement.

** Please log on to UAN ID through EPFO portal ( https://unifiedportal-

mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/) . Your UAN number will be your user id. Detail procedure is given
below.
For updating UAN database following necessary steps need to be followed which are given
as follows.

1) LOGGING INTO UAN ID

Please click this link for logging into you UAN ID and if not created please create one
from this link ( For your UAN account number refer to your payslip ).

2) Now please click the option “MANGE”

3) Now please click “Modify Basic details” option.

4) Now in this screen please update all the required details for linking with your UAN.

5) After entering necessary data please click “UPDATE DETAILS” Tab.
