Dear Sir/ Madam

REF: STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE.

Early in my high school years I discovered a personal truth, which I have no

limitations other than those I choose to impose upon myself. Everyone brings to
the world unique talents, gifts, and abilities and some of mine include my strong
will and my determination to be able to give something back to the communities in
which I was raised and confer what they need. My plans are not only to use
education as a tool to prepare me for a profession, but also to help me become a
self-sufficient individual who is fully prepared for life.

No one is free from mayhem during their lives, and I can honestly say that I am
thankful for the hardship and challenges which have crossed my path because they
have strengthened my personality and brought forth certain qualities I might
otherwise never have known. There are various personal issues with which I have
struggled and I have no doubt as to where their foundations lie. Because I grew up
in war-torn or divested nation with a lot of experiences on how to maintain life and
how to go about with education. Therefore, although my country was in war since
1983- 2005 I administered to get education and hold a Bachelor degree of Science
(B.sc) in Statistics and Demography, College of Economics and Social Studies
university of Bahr El Ghazal-Wau, Republic of south Sudan.

As I put earlier my plans are not just to education and get a job and earn a living
but I have a dream of giving my knowledge to the needy, in April 2015 my vision
came true and up to now I am teaching Assistant in University of Rumbek science
and Technology college of Economics and social studies teaching statistics and I
believe with this practice it will contribute to my qualification as the best candidate
for the Masters Programme in related field to my studies.

That is not the only experience I had, but also a deputy statistician officer in Lui
Hospital Western Equatoria State managing the entire data of the hospital in which
I served for four months. And also an enumerator during Sudan’s population and
housing census 2008. I really have vast experience in my field of studies which
will real contribute to my success and own a seat in this university. With all these
familiarities it made me to avert other disciplines and follow my heart’s desire of
studying statistics as my major and wanted to continue with it.

No person has gone to school only to get educated and goes back home and looks
after cattle, but mine I intended to serve the nation and the communities around.

Academic goals, throughout my studies I had wanted to go higher and higher with
my studies, especially to have Masters, so as to equip myself with knowledge and
also to impart to the new generations in my country South Sudan. My educational
intension was to curtail down the issue of illiteracy in the country, because the rate
of illiteracy in my country is still high. Moreover

With this, I wish to finish my masters in Applied Statistics in order to provide

education for all and advocate for the rights of the children both sexes, hence their
rights in south Sudan should be preserved after my studies.

In conclusions, I would like to request the well wishers in assisting me in my

Masters Degree programme on Applied Statistics. I assure you that I can finish my
Masters Degree programme within due time, because I already have started the
work which I am aiming at, my dream was to confer knowledge to my fellow
nationals of south Sudan as Teacher and now am doing it, all my years i took in the
university I have had no supplementary or substitutes in my studies, I therefore feel
that I will be the successful candidate that will suit the college the most.
