The following is a list of English-Cebuano words conceived by Atty. Cesar P. Kilaton but modified by
members of the Akademiyang Bisaya Foundation into a more pertinent terminologies in order to
facilitate recall by their users. Some original terms are retained, others are not included for lack of
significant use.
N.B. With due respect to Atty. Cesar P. Kilaton’s research work, his original glossary is shown on the
left column while the modified & retained version is shown on the right side. Undelined words of the
Original Version means they are being modified or retained. Modified words are
also underlined. Some terms have to be looked into by the members of the Akademiya in the next
succeeding meetings.
