for lunch option. Then any future ideas/options for enhancing their lunches.

Instructions: Each question must be answered in a short paragraph with complete, grammatically correct
sentences. All minimum writing requirements apply (Correct spelling, punctuation, etc.). I am looking for
honesty above all else.

1. Backward-Looking
a. In what ways have you gotten better at this work? How can you improve moving
forward?
I feel throughout all of these projects, especially this one, I feel my research skills have gotten much
better. My group and I were able to find strong primary sources, and get great information from them. When
moving forward, I know now to find and have as many primary sources as possible, in order to get strong
correct information needed, and hopefully even get great additional information.

b. What problems did you encounter while you were working on this piece? How did you
solve them?
While working on this project, getting ahold of different school’s principles/food directors was one of the
most difficult obstacles. My group and I discovered that if we email, and call them, we were most likely to get a
response. However, there were still a few schools that never did back to us, so we decided to go with what we
the schools that did respond and use just them.

2. Inward-Looking
a. How do you feel about your work? What parts of it do you particularly like? Dislike?
Why? What did/do you enjoy about this work?
The advertisements for this project were fun to make and turned out very well. I especially like how well
my group and I came together to make the commercial script. Also, the flyer was simple, but was great for
using visuals as our persuasion, plus getting our point across. During the advertisement making, we had plenty
of laughs while coming up with ideas, but also remained together and on task.

b. What did you learn about yourself as you worked on this piece?
I learned that I am much better in working with a group on projects now, than I was in the past. Even
being able to see how well I communicate, and and act in a professional matter was nice to realize. This
project was able to give me more confidence and experience when interviewing, or even just communicating
with much more sophisticated people.

3. Outward-Looking
a. Did you complete your work in the same manner as those around you? How were you
different?
In my group we all worked at a similar and even pace. However, I feel that comparing our group work to
the other groups, we have a better goals, and work manner is at a better standard. My group got along very
well, as well as, we completed everything on time due to our goals, and going along with the slight teacher
goals.

b. If someone else were looking at this work, what might they learn about who you are?
Through all of our work done, our audience may not be able to tell a whole lot about us. However, one
thing viewers will be able to tell is that students’ lunches is our best interest. Also, our research done is
thoroughly and is decently reliable due to our primary sources. They can learn that we are very trustworthy
people, and provide hard work into our projects.

4. Forward-Looking
a. What would you change if you had a chance to do this work over again?
I would’ve liked to been able to come up with more time available to complete extra research. Bringing
outside franchises into schools has many complications, but it also has some loopholes. I found what we found
and learned very interesting, so if I could’ve had the opportunity to dig deeper, I would’ve.

b. Describe a weakness that was highlighted during the process of completing your work,
and describe what you will do in the future to overcome your weakness.
Being able to maintain full concentration was one strong weakness for me during the time of this
project. Between group discussions, and the interesting information we kept coming across, it made it fairly
difficult to focus on what my task that I was trying to complete. When I work by myself I simply put earbuds in
and work. However, when in a group it is not always that simple. Whenever I got distracted, I had to stop what I
was talking about/doing that was not on task, and redirect myself. I plan to either remove all distractions till I
reach my goal of completing a task, or just keep redirecting myself in the way I need to be.
