It has been the university’s primary objective to give its graduates a well-rounded education; an
education that equips its alumni not only with the necessary knowledge but also skills needed for
accounting/auditing/taxation job. To realize this objective, the Accountancy Department of the
College of Business and Accountancy, Enverga University is implementing a practicum program
for its incoming fourth year students. The program is expected to bring to reality the merging of
the theories and concepts learned in the classroom with actual accounting/auditing/taxation
practices thereby making our students better prepared for their first job.

Arrangements have been made with different companies which are willing to provide them the
chance to participate in accounting/auditing/taxation areas of activities without compensation.
Although these companies will be screened, we cannot guarantee the absence of untoward
incident/s completely. It is in this connection that we request that you indicate your consent through
your signature on the enclosed parental permit. This is a standard operating procedure adopted by
all schools which have opted for the off- campus practicum program.
