TO THE LIVES OF WORKING STUDENTS

Bullying nowadays is common as medical doctor Roxanne Edwards

(2017) said that more than 40% of workers of the United States are being

bullied in their each of their own workplace. However, there are several

types of bullying known to us; physical, verbal, emotional and many more

that can influence our whole personality and physical body. In this research

it elaborates and gives how bullying influence a working student whether it

will be his physical being, emotional, social life and work performance. This

is through surveying 30 working students and interpreting the data gathered

through a Likert scale from an intensity of Not At All (NAA) to Always (A).

Results have showed that bullying can affect a working student in different

ways and each of their coping styles is also different. The most important

factor of our results is that, most of the results have been positive; meaning

that even though a working student is bullied, he can still work efficiently.

Though that is the case, this study is indeed focused only on Olongapo City

and in other cities the results might not be the same. This research is

presented as such that they can aid managers and companies about what to

do and what will do if there are bullying cases in the company.
