Commendations  ● Clear expectations of classroom procedures
● Respectful environment (students got into groups quickly) and were
respectful to group members
● Teacher dealt with student behavior issues respectfully and
appropriately.
● Time was used efficiently in class
● Teacher reflected on the lesson and the use of sketch notes based on
student feedback and use for studying; her use of strategies and tools
in the lesson were purposeful and thoughtful.
● In discussion, teacher noted that her use of quizizz to review key
concepts daily improved test scores this semester. This was something
she gathered from CUE.
● Classroom time was tightly used and transitions were clean and easy.
● In reflection she noted previous feedback given from Hollon and
Garcia from observations and put those into practice.
● Teacher greets students at the door everyday, and has made a decision
to be positive with each class so students have a positive interaction
each day with at least one adult.

Recommendations  ● Continued observation of colleague classrooms and participation in
walk-throughs to inform her teaching practice
● Communicate with administration on activities with school-wide
impact so all parties are informed
● Find ways to give students more opportunities to communicate so that
they can practice their answers but also ensure all students have
understanding.
● Continue to gather feedback from students to inform planning and
ensure activities and tasks in class are purposeful.

Next Steps  Jessica ways to continue her growth as an educator. She plans to continue
finding new ways to improve instruction and work with colleagues. She wants
to continue to work with technology to remain relevant to students. She
enjoys observations and getting feedback and plans on continuing to observe
other teacher or have other teacher observe her to improve and inform
decisions on her practice.
