1. Offer subject to change. Expires March 31, 2018. Data plans will only work on the ZTE MF 725R or ZTE MF 279T Smart Hub at eligible addresses. Check with a TELUS Dealer to qualify a service address. If Smart Hub device is moved out of region or if the Smart Hub SIM card is moved to a different mobile device, these data plans will cease working. These data plans do not include any voice minutes or capabilities. 9-11 and 6-11 calls can still be made if a phone is plugged into the Smart Hub unit, but no other voice activities will be possible with these plans. Taxes and pay-per-use charges are extra. 2. Speeds depend on signal strength and distance from cell site. Speed and signal strength may vary with your configuration, internet traffic, environmental conditions, applicable network management or other factors. For a description of TELUS network management practices, visit telus.com/networkmanagement and telus.com/optimization. Additional usage will be charged in increments of $10/5GB (rounded up to the closest GB at the end of the billing cycle). Data usage during a single billing cycle may be capped at $500 of additional usage. Additional usage may be authorized by calling TELUS to remove the data block. 3. Customers must pay back the balance of the ZTE MF 725R or ZTE MF 279T Smart Hub device over a 24 month period via monthly payments equal up to $10/month (total no term price: $300). Once the purchase price has been paid, the service will continue on a month-to-month basis without the monthly charge for the Smart Hub device. On bill, customer will see a monthly credit for$2.50 during the 24 month period. TELUS and the TELUS logo are trademarks of TELUS Corporation. ©2017 TELUS 17_00264-02.

Directory 2018
• farmers • producers • suppliers • purchasers
Pennywise will be publishing the Central Kootenay Food Policy Council’s
1 st Annual Farm & Food Directory in the late spring of 2018
in advance of the Farmers Market season openings.
If your business supports, benefits from, or exists because of farmers, you will benefit from advertising in this
regional directory. Featuring farmers, farm suppliers, fresh food purchasers and processors, this directory will
connect residents and visitors who care to consume local food to those who grow and make it.

The Central Kootenay Food Policy Council has partnered with Pennywise, the multi-award winning designers & publishers of the weekly Regional Community Shopper (Pennywise) and the Go & Do Regional Visitor Magazine, and the very popular Kaslo Area Guide. With Pennywise’s 40+ years of experience, the Council is guaranteed a beautifully crafted magazine. And you can be involved.

There is limited advertising space available within the farm directory, so call now to guarantee your ad space. Email Rick Wiltse today at farm_n_food@pennywiseads.com for more information about the advertising opportunities.

New Andy Goldsworthy film in Kaslo

On March 16, Kaslo’s Langham Cultural Centre, in part- nership with FLIKS, will wind up its 2017 – 2018 season with Leaning into the Wind – the Art of Andy Goldsworthy. It’s directed by Tomas Riedelsheimer, who also directed the 2002 f lm, Rivers and Tides – Andy Goldworthy Work- ing With Time. Shot between 2013 and 2016, Leaning Into the Wind takes us deep into Goldworthy’s practice as one of the world’s foremost land artists. Exclusively using found materials, such as rocks, trees, reeds, leaves and natu- ral dyes, plus his own body and elements of perfor- mance, Goldsworthy creates his works, some of which could last for centuries and others a few seconds. He works in rural and wilderness settings as well as con- gested urban landscapes. In every instance, he brings the same extraordinary sensitivity to his surroundings and genius for subtly transforming them and in the pro- cess, invokes in passersby responses ranging from rever- ence and wonder to playfulness and delight. T is is an extraordinary movie. Join us Friday, March 16, 7 pm at the Langham in Kaslo. Tickets at the door $10 and the doors open 6:30 pm. Submitted by David Jackson
