1 WELCOMING SPEECH
1.1.1 Puan Priya, the appointed Head of English Panel for this year thanked all the
teachers for their attendance.
1.1.2 Puan Priya also hoped that all English teachers could give full commitment
and support in improving the level of English language among the pupils.

3 MEETING FOCUS
Results for UPSR 2017: GPMP is 3.40 with 125 candidates where it has increase
compared to the previous year.

A – 10 pupils 8.0%
B – 19 pupils 15.2%
C – 29 pupils 23.2%
D – 45 pupils 36 %
Total passing – 103 pupils
E – 22 pupils 17.6 %
Results for UPSR 2017: GPMP is 3.94 with 120 candidates which has dropped a little
compared to the previous year.
A – 1 pupils 0.83%
B – 10 pupils 8.33%
C – 20 pupils 16.7 %
D – 55 pupils 45.83%
E – 34 pupils 28.33%
The results increased from 77.52 % to 82.4 % for Bahasa Inggeris Pemahaman and dropped
73.64% to 69.4 % for Bahasa Inggeris Penulisan in the year 2017. Panel hopes that teachers
will work hard to maintain and improve the results.

All the teachers incharged for the programmes need to come up with the report.
3.3.1 All the lesson should be typed and printed out according to the latest format and kept in the
file. Lesson Plan for English Language teachers must be standardised. Year 1 and Year 2 should
follow the CEFR format. Teacher in charge for year 1 is Miss Nasyitah dan for Year 2 is Miss
Verinder. All the objectivesand reflection should be measurable. As for the reflection part, teachers
should focus on the weak pupils as well as the absenties. All the teachers could refer to the example
given by the Head of Panel. One sample should also be kept in the Manual File.
3.3.2 The ‘borang pengesanan’ should be put together with the Scheme of Work and teacher should
always update the topic they have taught in that form.
3.3.3 These persons will in-charge for each level of pupils regarding all the matters.

3.4.1 Based on SPSK, PK01 only has 7 files including a main file. The main file has reference
number (JBA 1066/600-2/3/1) and the other 6 files are hard cover without the reference
number.
3.4.2 All the letters and the matters regarding file management should be acknowledged by the
Head of Panel Pn Priyasini.
3.4.3 All the letters and the appointed letters will only be signed by the Headmaster.
3.4.4 Cooperation of all teachers are needed by handing in the necessary report and materials on
time in order to improve the level of the English Committee.

3.5 BUDGET
3.5.1 Yearly balance/ PCG, Panel have to wait and get the information from the adminstration.
3.5.2 ‘Anggaran Belanja Mengurus’ (ABM), should use the form PK11/1 and KEW PA.
3.5.3 the budget is discussed during the ABM meeting.
3.5.4 Teachers can list out the materials needed for the English lesson.
3.5.5 Keep the resits for each purchase.
3.5.6 Record the expenses in the log book.

3.6.1 All the teachers have to submit their pupils’ assessment books according to the schedule
given in the Teachers Manual Book. The schedule should be kept in teacher’s Manual File.
3.6.2 For the year 1 and year 2, there is a Superminds text book and 1 work book. For the
year3,there are 3 exercisebooks and 2 activity books.
3.6.3 As for the Level 2, English 1 is for comprehension and language arts, English 2 is for
Grammar, Spelling and Dictation and English 3 is for Writing.
3.6.4 The Head of Panel insisted that all the teachers should mark the pupils’
assessments on time and up to date. Please check the pupils’ assessment
thoroughly.
3.6.5 The pupil’s answers should be ticked based on the number of questions and not
one big tick on a page.
3.6.6 The teaching and learning should be carried out based on the PAK 21.
3.6.7 Teachers should always insert new techniques during their lessons.
3.6.8 Spare 5 minutes beofre the class toremind pupils to clean their classroom.
3.6.9 Share idead and techniques between teachers.
3.6.10All the teachers should always be ready to be observed.The time table will be distributed
soon.
3.6.11 Always have the RPH,RPT,DSKP, Writing books and activity books prepared during the
observation.
3.6.12 As previous years, the coding is yellow sticker. All the teachers should put the coding on
their pupils’ books.
3.6.13 The labelling of the books should be done and books should be wrapped neatly.
3.6.14 Pupils need to write the dayand day for every activity done.
3.6.16 Teachers should mark the students’ books using a red pen.
3.6.17 Puils should be reminded to do their corrections.
3.6.18 The quantity of exercise given should match the pupils’ level.
3.6.19 Provide one copy of the observation form to the panel.
3.7.1Teacher in-charge is CikNur Nasyitah Nadia. It is carried out until year 4. All teachers’ must
be able to complete the ‘saringan” the dates provided.
3.7.2 Teachers can ask the guidance of Cik Nasyitah dan Pn Nurul Huda regarding Linus.
3.7.3 Submit Headcount and Tov for 2017.

3.8.1 The teacher incharge is Cik Verinder Kaur and all the English teachers.
3.8.2 The assembly is carried outin English for every second week of the month.
3.8.3 Train the student incharge on the text for the assembly.
3.8.4 Inform the headmaster regarding this matter.
3.8.5 programmes such as Early bird programme on Wednesdaya and tip toe to a song will be
carried out.Teachers incharge should play their role in carrying out these activities

Terbilang and Gemilang should have more exercises compared to Cemerlang and Pintar.

3.20 POST MORTEM - ISU AND ANALYSIS ITEMS
3.20.1 All the teachers must complete the item analysis and post mortem for the subject after each
tests/exams. Hand in a week after the exams approximately to be filed.
3.20.2 There will be a post mortem after the exam main exams.

3.21 HEADCOUNT
3.21.1 Year 6 will have to do the headcount. The TOV for Year 6 pupils will be from their UPPM 1
final exam.
3.21.2 For KSSR, all the teachers should have their own target based on their last year final exam.

3.22.1 Extra classes Year 6 will be start in January. The classes will be carried out on Fridays.
3.22.2 Mentor-mentee programme teachers carry out peer teaching to assist the pupils to improve
according to their levels.

3.25 ASSEMBLY IN ENGLISH
3.25.1 Every second week of the month. It will be the English assembly week. Teachers and pupils
will need to speak in English during this week. English related activities will be carried out.
3.25.2 Every Wednesday will be the English day. 5 minutes activity will be carried out in the
morning.

3.26.1 Please refer to the attachment. All teachers should give their support in order to get all the
program be done throughout the year.

and pictionary will be added in the room. Teachers may make use of the chrome books
placed in ELC efficiently and for Zoom A.
