Mechanics:
1. The contestants shall imitate a character they choose in accordance to the following
categories assigned to each grade/year level:
a. Grade 7- Disney characters
b. Grade 8- Afro-Asian Literature Characters
c. Grade 9- English and American Literature Characters
d. 4th year- World Literature
2. In imitating their chosen character, the contestants shall wear a costume and look
like that character.
3. The contestants shall memorize a short famous line of that character that will make
everyone recognize the character they choose.
4. Each contestant will be given a number and wait for their turn. To impress the judges,
they will take a gracious walk to show their costumes and will recite their
characters’ lines.
5. Only 2 minutes is allotted to each student in showing their costumes and reciting
their prepared lines.
6. Three winners will be chosen by the judges in each grade/year level. The winners
will receive the following prizes:
1st winner- certificate, cash prize, and token
2nd winner- certificate and cash prize
3rd winner- certificate and cash prize
II. Criteria:
Costume/Imitation of the Character = 50%
Stage Projection = 25%
Delivery of the Character’s Lines = 25%
Total = 100%
