STUDENT TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Windham Primary School (RSU 14). Windham, ME. Elementary school student teacher
placement and substitute teaching. Lesson planning and implementation to approximately five
hundred K-3rd grade students. Successfully implemented various instruction strategies and
accommodations. Developed classroom management and time management skills. Created and
completed both formative and summative assessments. Collaborated in the displaying of student
work. January 2, 2013-March 1st 2013.

Gray-New Gloucester High School (MSAD 15). Gray, ME. High school student teacher
placement and substitute teaching. Lesson planning and implementation to 9th-12th grade students.
Developed classroom management and organizational skills. Chaperoned an all day field trip to
Museum of Fine Arts. Boston, MA. Created and completed both formative and summative
assessments. March 5, 2013- April 26, 2013.

FIELDWORK EXPERIENCE

SPACE Gallery. Portland, ME. Middle school gallery and project experience. Worked
collaboratively with the art education department to create/implement Portrait Possibilities - A
lesson plan and gallery fieldtrip for 5th -8th grade students attending Breakwater School. Portland,
ME. September 19, 2012.

King Middle School. Portland, ME. Middle school project experience. Worked one-on-one with
a diverse class of ELL students. Worked collaboratively to develop and implement an art and
literacy based project inspired by the book GOAL! Written by Mina Javaherbin and illustrated by
A.G. Ford. Fall 2012.

Mayo Street Arts. Portland, ME. Community based arts education. Worked one-on-one with a
diverse group of students to design and paint a set for a play. Fall 2012.

Adventures in Art. Portland, ME. Elementary school gallery and project experience. Worked
with 1st through 5th grade students from Hall Elementary School. Collaboratively designed and
implemented a Print Making Lesson in response to an exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary
Art (I.C.A.) entitled The World Over. The Print Making Workshops took place November 27 th-29th
2012.

James W. Russell School (MSAD 15). Gray, ME. R.T.I. Educational Technician II. Assisting
K-2nd grade students with various behavioral needs. Providing in classroom support as well as
scheduled breaks outside of class. 2016-Present.

Memorial School (MSAD 15). New Gloucester, ME. Jump Start Educational Technician II.
Assisting and implementing a summer literacy program for pre K students. 2016 and 2017.

Memorial School (MSAD 15). New Gloucester, ME. Title I Educational Technician II.
Assisting K-2nd grade students with various behavioral needs. Providing in classroom support as
well as scheduled breaks outside of class. 2014-2016.

Gray New-Gloucester High School (MSAD 15). Gray, ME. Long-Term Substitute Art Teacher.
Resumed all teaching responsibilities. Implemented Lesson Plans/Curriculum for Foundations,
Drawing, Graphic Design, Gifted and Talented as well as the International Baccalaureate Art
Program, for grades 9-12. Attended and participated in all pertaining I.E.P./504 Plan meetings.
Collaborated in setting up the 2014 Gray New Gloucester High School Art Show. 2014.

teaching responsibilities and duties of the absent teacher. 2013-2014.

Sterling INC. Jared the Galleria of Jewelry, Portland, ME. Active full-time bench Jeweler.
Repaired, sized, altered, and customized jewelry for multiple stores located in and out of the New
England area. Assisted in all Repair Shop duties including shipping, billing, weekly summaries,
inventory, payroll, and customer service. 2010-2012.

J.S. Ritter Supply LLC. Portland, ME. Assisted in store, phone, and internet sales of jewelry
and metalsmithing supplies and equipment. 2009-2010.

G.M. Pollack & Sons Corporate Headquarters. Scarborough, ME. Apprenticed as a bench
Jeweler in repairs, alterations, and custom design. 2007-2008.
