What’s new

 The SonicSupport plugin:

During a three receiver sonic session it allows the user to automatically
pick the first arrival time using an advanced picking technique.
In the FWS log this picking is only possible in replay mode using a
conversion procedure.
The picking algorithm used for calculating the transit velocity is
stochastic and is founded on the progressive noise analysis.
The function is enabled by default, to disable it the user must rename
the SonicSupport.dll file in the WinLogger installation directory.

 The LAS Import utility:

Up to 12 channels can be imported from a LAS 2.0 file that contains
well logging data in wrapped or unwrapped mode.

 The USB direct printer support:

Allows the user to print in direct mode using an USB interface to a
Printrex (820DL, 840DL) thermal printer.

 The Weighted Average Filter:

Executes a weighted arithmetic mean through the convolution of the
series with a sinusoidal pattern.

 Some bugs in the following modules have been fixed:

 LAS Export
 Merge Logs
 Depth Shift

Installation

 First Installation:
1. Run setup.exe from the main directory of your installation CD to
install the full WinLogger software.
2. Run setup.exe in the “LVRE” folder of your installation CD to
install the LabView runtime engine.
3. Connect the Micrologger system and switch on power. Cancel
the “Driver Wizard” window if it appears, instead run install.exe
from the “driver” folder of your installation CD.

1. Run setup.exe from the main directory of yours installation CD

and choose “repair” to update the software components.
2. Run setup.exe in the “LVRE” folder of your installation CD to
install the LabView runtime engine.

Compatibility

This software has been tested under the following platforms:

 Windows XP Home / Professional edition

 Windows Vista 32
 Windows 7 32/64

Known Issues

Compatibility mode with Windows XP and administration privileges must be

set when software is running on Windows Vista or Windows 7
