In

the three lessons outlined in the Forward Planning Document I have used multiple
different ICT tools that allow the classroom to run in a fun and engaging environment,
these tools include: Popplet, Padlet, Kahoot!, and Storyboard that, as learning tools for
my classroom. Popplet is used in the first lesson as an introduction, this ICT tool allows
for the teacher to see what prior knowledge the students have while also allowing
students to be engaged and have a visual representation of some aspects of the topic
that they may already know. Padlet is a very convenient tool to use in the classroom as a
means of communication, it is used in this instance for students to share their ideas and
work with the teacher and allows them to see some creative ideas of other student.
Kahoot! is a fun and engaging activity that students really enjoy, in my Forward
Planning Document I have used it to get the students engaged and excited by the activity
while also testing their knowledge in a relaxed and informal environment. Storyboard
that, is the main source of assessment for this Forward Planning Document, I have used
this tool to get students to display their work in a fun and creative way that allows them
to express themselves. Storyboard that, gives a student the best opportunity to use their
visual skills to the best of their abilities, however, this tool also allows them to use text
to explain their story. All the of the work students complete in these 3 lessons were
uploaded to their classroom padlet to allow the teacher to assess their work, both
formally and informally.
