For clarification, the lesson plan was the supportive approach for me in achieving my learning
outcomes in this lesson by allow the students to:
- Recognize number 8.
- Count and write number 8.
Describe (D):
Who is the lesson for? Where did the lesson take place?
This lesson was targeted for KG1 who are from 4 to 5 years old, the lesson has taken place in the
classroom and I introduced it by allowing the students to sit in the circle area, then I separated them into
the three groups to have the independent experience activities and when they finished the activities I
asked them to come in the circle area to conclude the lesson with an enthusiastic activity.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? What did the students do?
During this lesson I tried to achieve the learning outcomes by teaching students how to recognize
number 8, how to count tell 8 and write the number 8, the supportive method of achieving these goals
3
was providing students an engaging and challenging activities to suits their levels, abilities and to
motivate them by being focused on the activities.
Based on that, students were involved very well in the lesson and the activities because when they
finished the activity they were coming to show me what they did. For example, one boy in the who is in
the high level came to me and show me the 8 ladybugs he draws and by which color he colored them. So,
from this excitement it shows that students understand the concept of the lesson.
Analyze (A):
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? How well did your teaching relate to
the students’ prior understanding? How well did you engage the students?
According to student’s response, I can say that they were engaged very well and get encouraged in the
learning activities when I gave them to write number 8 because they were saying that (ms look we did it
and write number 8 in correct way), and from that excitement I noticed that they understood the lesson
well.
For clarifying, I did an activity that was related to students prior understanding in the conclusion by
placing in front of each students a laminated paper with marker to write number 8, it just
showed that students were reach the learning outcomes because they were actively doing the activity in
correcting and exciting way.
Appraise (A):
Explain the nature of the experience from the students’ perspective.
As I noticed that, this lesson was very attractive and effective because all the students enjoyed the
activities, participating to show me how they are recognized the number 8 very well, for example, some
students were coming and count from 1 to 8. As a result, from these responses of students I considered
that the lesson plan was reached students levels and their understanding.

Transform (T):
How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
As looking forward to my future, I will continue my teaching strategies in this way to attract student’s
attention and let them be excited, for instance, allow students to move around the classroom to find
number 8.
