Faculty Recruitment – Advertisement No. 03/MNIT/ESTT/2017

CORRIGENDUM

With reference to Advertisement No. 03/MNIT/ESTT/2017, the last date for

filling up the applications was 29.09.2017 extended upto 19.10.2017, all
applicants are informed that after the last date of above advertisement, the
recommendation of Anomaly Committee on new Recruitment Rules for
faculty in NITs was issued vide letter F. No. 33-9/2011-TS.III dated
06.10.2017 and 17.11.2017 regarding one time relaxation in relevant
recruitment rules pertaining to existing Associate Professor and Professor
respectively. The recommendations were approved in 38th and 39th meeting
of Board of Governors held on 3.11.2017 and 06.01.2018. To invite
applications under relaxed criteria from existing Assistant Professor and
Associate Professor, two circulars dated 14.11.2017 and 19.01.2018 were
issued and the last date for filling up the application for internal Assistant
Professor and Associate Professor was 24.11.2017 and 05.02.2018
respectively.

The applicants already applied under above advertisement are allowed

to update their credentials, if any upto 24.11.2017 for the post of
Associate Professor and upto 05.02.2018 for the post of Professor and
submit the updated credentials / information, if any with supporting
documents by mentioning the Application Number on the envelope latest
by 26.03.2018.
