CAUTION
Gates A1, A3, B1 and B3 have a slight upward slope towards the
terminal. Use cautions when taxiing into these gates to prevent jet
blast damage if there are aircraft parked in the overnight parking
area.
NOTES
Blue taxi line between the terminal and the overnight parking area
has 87' clearance on either side of the centerline.
Summer month hot brake awareness - pilots should request runway
8/26 for landing. If runway 3 is used, pilots should avoid trying to
make an early turn off. Monitor brake temperatures. If excessive
heat build up is noted, coordinate with crew chief for main gear
chocks and release the brake to allow temperatures to subside.
Runway 26 arrival
– High terrain east of Runway 26 penetrates a 3° glide path
(Reference page 10-1).
Noise Abatement
– On a visual approach to Runway 26, DO NOT deviate north of the
runway centerline to avoid the Four Hills housing area.
Taxi Procedures
– Inbound aircraft are not allowed to taxi from Taxiway A to the gates
by crossing the overnight parking spots when aircraft are parked on
the overnight parking spots. All aircraft are to proceed to the end of
the terminal ramp and taxi down the blue line. When no aircraft are
parked then crossing the overnight spots is allowed.
