Risk Management ensures the Group has appropriate Business & Private Banking Risk Management (BPB RM)
strategies and frameworks in place to assess, manage forms part of the Group Risk Management division, and

Within BPB Risk Management, our team is ‘Business

Banking & Digital Initiatives’. This team manages the
credit risk for BPB’s Business Banking SME and Private
Banking segments and houses our governance functions
including: analytics and reporting, provisioning, risk
models, central arrears management, portfolio hindsight
and regulatory engagements. The Digital teams lead
change and manage our risk infrastructure platforms,
projects and activities working with our business
counterparts.

Your responsibilities

Your key duties will include:

 Develop, review and implement PD, LGD and Provisioning models used in Business and Private Banking as well as
Institutional Banking and Markets
o perform model testing, model implementation and model monitoring
o prepare comprehensive model documentation that meet internal and regulatory standards
 Participate in project planning and all stages of model development from model methodology and framework
design, data preparation, segmentation, model development, model testing and calibration, to model
implementation and performance monitoring.
 Support independent model validation, internal and external audit, and regulatory reviews.
 Interact with model owners/users, validators and regulators to address model issues and remediation actions.
Interact with key stakeholders in B&PB and IB&M to better understand their portfolio, risk exposures and
modelling needs.
 Conduct stress testing of the credit portfolio to identify and understand vulnerabilities and comply with regulatory
requirements.
 Work on various ad hoc quantitative, modelling, and programming assignments.

Your skills & experience Your qualifications


This role is accountable for supporting and performing  Advanced applied programming skills (SAS, SQL,
qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of etc.)
models including theoretical aspects, model design and  Demonstrated knowledge of credit risk models
implementation as well as data quality and integrity. (PD, LGD)
