Profile details
 Bidding Strategy, Bid Submission and Project Contracts Execution
o Central Govt. (SECI), State Govt. & International Bids: Detailed analysis of bid documents including RfS, RfQ,
PPA/PSA, risk assessment and suggesting mitigation measures to management. Submission of
comments/feedback to bidding agency for pre-bid discussion.
o Handled independently bid submission and reverse auction process for recently secured 200 MW wind
project under SECI Bid Tranche II.
o Liasioning with representatives of bidding agency (SECI) pre and post reverse auction to address their
query, if any, and thereby ensure compliance of bidding terms.
o Discussion with OEM/developers for pre bid arrangement and assistance in post bid project contract
execution to ensure regulatory compliances. Post execution of contracts, regular follow up with
OEM/developers to support other departments including project execution team, WRA and finance and
accounts team for payments. Addressing queries of project finance team.
 Regulatory Affairs and Liasioning for Approvals
o Study of CTU/STU network to explore power evacuation approval opportunities, filing application for
connectivity and LTA, regular interaction with representatives of CTU/STU, attending further follow-up
meetings (JCC) etc.
o Interaction with CEA CEI/CEIG for approvals including Section 68, 164 of EA 2003, charging/commissioning
permission.
o Analysis of CERC/CEA/SERC regulations and suggesting risk mitigation measures, discussion with law firms
to assist in filing of petitions before CERC/SERC. Review and submission of comments on draft Regulations
and attending hearings.
o Assessment of upcoming regulatory developments at central and state level which can affect renewable
energy sector in general and especially wind power projects, and provide market update to management to
reduce regulatory risk for existing and upcoming projects.
 Certification of projects under Gold Standard and VCS for Carbon Credits and Trading:
o Successfully registered 3 wind projects (100.5 MW in Madhya Pradesh, 22.5 MW in Rajasthan and 34 MW in
Maharashtra) under with Gold Standard (GS) organization under voluntary compliance mechanism.
o Successfully registered 2 wind projects (19.5 MW and 39.9 MW in Rajasthan) under with verified Carbon
Standard (VCS) under voluntary compliance mechanism.
o Traded approx. 3 lac VCS carbon credits into international market within 10-11 months to realize revenue in
line with targets. Traded 27,500 GS carbon credits within 15 days of issuance in international market.
o Single point of contact for Validation/Registration/Certification of entire portfolio of company under GS,
VCS and CDM for Carbon Credits. Coordination with National CDM Authority, GS organization, VCS
organization, Consultants, DOE/Auditors and Registry to ensure timely execution of Validation, Registration
and Verification. Regular follow up with the CSR team to ensure compliance under Gold Standard, CDM and
VCS.
o Commercial discussion/ negotiation for engagement of Consultants and DOEs.
 Market Intelligence, assessment of RE requirement and public relation (PR) work
o Analysis of DISCOM of wind potential rich states using their Annual Reports, true up of ARRs and petitions.
Study includes sources of power purchase and procurement price, T&D loss trajectory, category wise
energy consumption pattern, cash subsidy and cross subsidy pattern. Preparation on comparative
statement on financial health of DISCOMs.
o Study of Power Market in India including Conventional & Non-conventional energy availability, RPO
compliance analysis, thermal projects ageing thereby projecting renewable energy requirement of
state/obligated entity.
o Worked for corporate communication including write up for press release, award nomination. Assistance in
sharing of contents for collaterals including corporate brochure, posters, stationery etc., website
development, Linked In account and follow up with the professionals for website & Linked In update.
 Study of evaluating power sale options through Open Access (OA)
o Analyzed wind power sale options under group captive and/or third party consumers in the state
considering multiple combinations at consumer end to get best realization.
