Body:
 The students will be separated into 3 groups. Easily accessible
 Group 1 students, will complete the first activity iPads for each

 Group 1 students will be using the app called
‘QR code scanner.’ There will be multiple QR QR code scanner

code and the photo pops up the students will be
instructed to go outside to see if they can find
that weather condition and take a photo on
their iPad. For example, clouds, rainy, sunny,
wind etc? There will also be QR codes around
the class room that will be linked to youtube
videos of different weather conditions.
 Group 2 students will complete a table top
activity
 Group 3 students will also complete an activity
 Each group will rotate through the three
activities so they get a turn in each activity.
 The main focus for this lesson is for the students
to experience how to use QR code scanner, in
which links to a particular activity or aim for the
lesson.

Conclusion:
 Bring all students back to the mat.
 Call up a few students from each group to show
the class what they did in their activity.
