CORD WRAP PATTERN
WITH THREE SIZESCLOTH CABLE WRAPS
WITH THREE SIZES TO CHOOSE FROM!
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
For the main piece:
8" x 8” of cotton top fabric
8” x 8” of cotton lining fabric
16" x 8” of iron on interfacing
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
Sewing machine
KAM snaps x 3 sets
Matching thread
Your printed pattern pieces
Scissors
Iron
Snap press tool
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Iron your fabric and cut out all the pieces from your material as instructed on your
pattern pieces. The pattern includes a 1cm seam allowence so feel free to add more
seam allowence at this stage if you wish
2. Apply your interfacing to your top fabric and lining fabric following the directions
on your interfacing package:
3. Place your top fabric and your lining fabric right sides together. Sew around the
wrap piece leaving a hole for turning.
4. Clip the curves of your wrap to make the turning a little neater.
5. Turn your wrap right side out and press.
6. Topstitch around the whole of your wrap to seal the hole and give it a professional
finish. | used a 1mm straight top stitch.
7. Apply your snaps using the directions on your packaging. To find the placement of
the snaps fold your wrap in half lengthwise and measure 1cm down from each of the
short sides.
8. YAY! Your brand new reusable cable wraps are complete! This project is a great
way to use up fabric scraps and get all those random cables in order.CORD WRAP
