Epoxy/Polyester Powder

1. Application

This painting specification is applicable for all standard CHLORIDE boxes or cubicles.

2. Surface preparation

The pretreatment involves the following operations:

- Degreasing and phosphatising )

- Rinsing ) by spray (150 bars) in a three stages tunnel
- Passivation )

Then drying with hot air (60°C)

- Results : Weight of the phosphor coating: 0.3 to 0.5 g/m² approx.

- Test Phosphatising : Visual and touch inspection (by sampling)

3. Build coat

The epoxy polyester powder is sprayed by means of electrostatic spray equipment.

- Drying time : 10 to 30 minutes at 200°C

- Standard finish colour : textured finish Munsell N7 (except specified in product datasheet)
- Thickness : film 50 microns approx. (except specified in Product datasheet)
- Thickness test : Instrument used to measure the thickness (by sampling)

4. Characteristics

- Shock resistance : 50 in accordance with NFT 30039 standard

- Hardness : 300 seconds in accordance with NFT 30016 standard
- Salty smog : 500 hours in accordance with NFX 41002 standard
- Good resistance to handling
